Featuring a wood burning fireplace lounge in the lobby, Basecamp Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Canmore plus has easy access to the highway. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, along with complimentary on site parking. All rooms are fully equipped with a Keurig coffee machines, flat-screen TV and refrigerator. Some rooms also include a sitting area, a balcony and / or a fireplace, plus a portion of rooms are equipped with full kitchen facilities. Our stay at Basecamp Lodge in Canmore was absolutely amazing. Cozy atmosphere, beautiful mountain views, and such a relaxing place to unwind after exploring the Rockies. Everything felt warm, clean, and welcoming — we can’t wait to come back again.

Beautifully new and clean accommodation. Great coffee freely available in guest communal area. Huge bed was very comfortable indeed. Fab bathroom, fridge too. Staff were super friendly.

Staying in Canmore instead of Banff was the right decision. We liked the town, 20min driving from Banff. Lodge was a great find. Would stay there again. Clean rooms, nice staff and free parking

Very cozy and beautiful view from room. Not too far from the main streets and many food options very close by. Staff always very friendly and kind. Would definitely stay here again, good value for money.

“Beautiful, new & clean”
Fantastically new and clean facilities with really comfortable beds and fresh, new linen. The double room (2 x double beds) was very spacious with ample storage for clothes and luggage. It was great to be able accurately adjust the heating and keep it at a comfortable level in the room and the key code to the room meant no forgotten or lost swipe cards. It was easy walking distance to a few eateries nearby with a slightly longer walk into the lovely main street which provides more options. Really friendly staff. Overall it was a very comfortable and enjoyable week long stay.

The room was exceptionally warm since the fireplace had been running for a few hours before we arrived. It took awhile before it was comfortable for the kids to sleep.
