Located on Pigeon Mountain, this resort features a pool and indoor/outdoor hot tubs. A fireplace and a balcony with mountain views are offered in cottages. Lake Louise is 1 hour’s drive away. Spacious bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Great view of the mountains, Swimming pool which was a big deal for the kids, I highly recommend it.

Our family and friends had a wonderful time at these cabins. We had stunning mountain views. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a few days' stay. The pool and indoor and outdoor jacuzzi were a great bonus. We are very happy to have visited here and will return to this amazing place again and again!

“Fabulous holiday, in a spacious, well equipped chalet, with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.”
The location of Banff Gate Mountain Resort is ideal for hiking in the Rocky Mountains. It's just off the Trans Canada Highway and a short drive to Canmore, the nearest small town but also is close to Dead Mans Flats, which has petrol stations, a cafe and small convenience stores. The chalet is well equipped and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff are lovely and provided extra supplies such as dishwasher tablets and loo roll when requested. There is a laundry on site.

“Won’t be returning”
Bed was very uncomfortable, view was fantastic. Overall maintenance of building very poor and very dull! Poor value for money.

“All in all it was a great experience. Perfect place to relax, refresh your mind and soul.”
The place is perfect for our mini retreat for our youth and young professionals. A very solemn place to restart and seek the Lord in this serene and beautiful place, surrounded by the mountains and nature. Perfect for a prayer walk, morning run and others.
