It is really out in the open. Very silent and dark at night :-). Also liked the foodtruck, the friendly staff. Fluent English in the middle of France :-).

Beautiful rural location, cottage had the bare minimal crockery, dishwater tablets, no dish cloth, tea bags ! Needed a little bit more thoughtfulness, otherwise could have been perfect!

The cottage was gorgeous, looking very new and extremely well maintained. Not huge in space but very well laid out and functional all the same for a family of 4. A few essential were added to make coffee, clean dishes or use the dishwasher which is a definite plus. The host, Stéphane, was absolutely fabulous and couldn't do enough for you. We didn't use the Golf facilities as it wasn't the intent of the trip but by all account, the course looked very well looked after and seemed quite popular for guests. We used the pool which was heated and very warm. It's plenty big enough to accommodate a few guest at once and again, a lot of details were thought of to make the area a pleasure to be in. Lastly but not least, access to WIFI was available free of charge, which I find a must in this day and age. The location is quite remote, amenities around are few and far between but that's not a negative by all means. If you want tranquility, calm and comfort, just do your shopping in advance in the nearby town of Pocé / Cisse and relax after in the cottage. Only a short ~20mins drive to the city of Amboise with a great castle, market and gorgeous little streets full of character.

“Fabulous place to stay”
Loved the Lodge overlooking the golf course, the wildlife were amazing, as were the dark sky's fantastic star gazing. Beds sooo comfortable large fridge and big enough freezer, fab dishwasher plates cutlery pans ect.. really nice 👌

“Fine if you like golf and avoid the summer months.”
The location is stunning. Peaceful, quiet, in the middle of nature. The cabins are nice and well equipped… however we happened to stay there on a very hot July day and the heat inside was unbearable, so much so that we checked out a day early.
