Situated in Canet de Adri, in a historic building, 17 km from Girona Train station, Masia Can Pou is a country house with an open-air bath and garden. Masia Can Pou was amazing. We loved that it was tucked away in the hills in a quiet haven surrounded by nature. The accommodation was beautiful, the design and simplicity. All the food was delicious and we found that the hosts couldn't do enough for us!

The food, the ambience, the views from the terrace and the location, the cleanliness of the rooms but most importantly our hosts, Eirene and Donatello who were fabulous hosts. Being serenaded by nightingales and golden Orioles was an added bonus!!

“Wow what a fantastic 3 night stay we had at Masia Can Pou.”
We loved everything about it, it’s a very special place run by a really lovely couple. Location is perfect for walks, we stayed for 3 nights and did a different walk each day from the door. Building is beautiful, so many different areas to relax inside and outside - we enjoyed doing daily yoga on one of the many terraces. Can recommend the evening meal, we ate each evening and everything was incredible with a good choice available. Breakfast was equally good.

The owners were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my dietary requirements. They initially said that they wouldn't have any vegan options for dinner but when we arrived they had made changes to the menu especially. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing for vegans and pescetarians.

Our best stay in as long as I can remember. Eirene and Donatello have created something truly amazing with Masia Can Pou. The whole house and garden has an atmosphere that I'm sure can lower a persons blood pressure well beyond what any prescription pill will do. The surroundings (thank you Jazz the dog for the guided tour) are beautiful and gave us just the right appetite for a perfect dinner on local produce. The breakfast was equally superb. Homemade and locally sourced sausages and cheeses, croissants and bread and other bakery fresh out of the kitchen oven.

“Perfect stay in the most beautiful place.”
We had a wonderful 2 night stay in Masia Can Pou. Breakfasts were delicious, dinner by Donatello the best during our trip. The place is unique with panoramic views to valley and mountains. It is a very large farm house (almost like a castle) from 1639, renovated with care and decorated with beautiful antiques with lots of thoughtful details. Our room was spacious with great bed and linen. We walked in the mornings and evenings in the fields and slept well. It is only 25 min from Girona, where we spent a day. A truly relaxing and delightful stay, we can recommend it wholeheartedly!
