Everything was just perfect. This place is a real paradise on the earth. They really know how to pamper you, taking care of any minimal detail, from the reception thru the massages to the wine tasting and local food experience organisation. Thai you again for taking so great care of me!

It is amazing hotel, located in old (but perfectly renovated) monastery building on the top of Canelli with outstanding view from the room and garden. Host and owner of the hotel is very helpful, you feel yourself like you are not the client, but a guest of family. Perfect breakfast is definitely worth mentioning! If you travel by car park it in front of Chiesa di San Leonardo, do not try to follow the route, proposed by Google maps. Additionally be ready for good cardio training getting back to hotel from Canelli historical center by foot :)

The hotel is beautiful—set in a historic building, newly renovated and elegant. It has a lovely view of the town. The breakfast is excellent, and the owners are wonderful. Highly recommended!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Villa del Borgo - the great location, the lovely breakfast and the friendly professional staff. Best mattresses we ever slept on.... The spa is at extra charge, which we found adequate, given that this is a small hotel and the spa can be used exclusively.

Every little attention to detail is met at VdB. The owners have a great eye for style and quality. The breakfast layout and choices, fresh home made cakes and jams, fresh juices and the option to have pretty much anything made was fabulous. We had top floor suite which is perfect for a family of 4 with 2 children sharing a large sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom is beautiful and the bath has an incredible view over the vineyards. Very welcoming and helpful with recommendations and booking restaurants, wine tours etc.

Villa del Borgo is beautiful. Patrizia has a gorgeous location, just a short 10-15minutes walk to restaurants in Canelli. The rooms are beautiful in this old monestary, the breakfast was exceptional (Thanks Simone for those scrambled eggs with parm!). It was certainly a luxury location. My husband said the pillows were the best for him. I really enjoyed my 8am swims in the pool overlooking the area and town. Oh and a nice touch in the room, slippers and flip-flops.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Del Borgo. It exceeded our expectations in every way, but most importantly it exceeded our service and hospitality expectations. Alessandro and his mother were fantastic in every single way. We couldn't thank them more for their excellent hospitality. Breakfast was a delight and the pool was just lovely. Our room was large and very comfortable and when we asked for an extra pillow and Alessandro forgot before he left for the evening, he came all the way back to the Villa when he remembered to deliver it to us. Talk about service! Can't say enough great things about our stay. Thank you for hosting us!

Beautifully decorated, spectacular views and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast superb and lots of opportunities to enjoy a glass of wine on a terrace. Close proximity to lots of great local restaurants and of course wine country
