Dated from the 19th century, Posada Candelario is located in Candelario’s Old Town. The Posada maintains its original architecture and features rooms with stone walls and beamed ceilings. Rooms at this hotel have been carefully decorated. They feature rustic décor furniture, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The old cellar is now a restaurant, which serves barbecues, homemade products from the area and healthy cuisine. The village of Béjar is 4.7 km from the hotel. You can also drive to Salamanca in approximately 1 hour.

“Characterful, pet-friendly hotel in beautiful mountain village.”
Candelario is a beautiful mountain village and the posada is an old and characterful building. There is a public car park nearby. The proprietor is friendly and welcoming and plays relaxing jazz music at breakfast - what a wonderful way to start the day! Best of all we were able to stay with our four dogs so a big tick in the pet-friendly box. The photo is the view from our balcony.

A lovely old building in a beautiful mountain village, comfy beds, good breakfast with relaxing music, friendly guy, and accommodated us with our 4 dogs. Second time we’ve stayed here and will stay here again.

“Only one night,so short but very, very sweet stay!!”
Very pleasant stay in the beautiful village of Candelario! Lovely bedroom with balcony.The host was extremely attentive and breakfast,in the charming was just right too! The only problem we had was with the heat,but that was because we visited when most of Spain was suffering from a particularly hot heatwave and of course,there was little that the hotel could do about that because due to the special situation of Candelario, buildings such as where the hotel is situated certain architectural norms must be obeyed.

It is a very nice place in a beautiful spot, It is exactly as we expected it The man at the reception is extraordinarily kind and helpful. Breakfast is good.
