“Nice place, nice stay”

A nice clean place, with a lagoon view. The location though was not central but is very accessible due to busses that run every minute or two and cost 12 pesos. Moreover, the location has a great beach, not crowded but not empty either. If you come around 9 am you may find a spot under an umbrella.. There are few restaurants across the street that are 10 minutes walking. Otherwise it's easy to take a bus any time of the day (literally). You may need a transfer (ask the host) from airport, but know that on the way back you may just order Uber which will be x2 cheapper than transfer. The host was very accommodating and nice, thank you Michelle.

The location was wonderful, our host (Michelle) was wonderful, the suite was fully equipped and had a fantastic view, and the beach was beautiful.

Our host, Michelle, was very helpful and attentive and quick to respond to any questions. The room was nicely decorated and well supplied with amenities including a coffee machine. The room was cleaned regularly and towels replaced. The complex was nice with a lovely beachside location and the pool was excellent. Buses into town are affordable and frequent. Good place to stay on a reasonable budget.

Michelle is very kind and helpful..Solymar itself is a bit run down and there are not enough chars by the beach for everyone, so it was a sort of a war to get one... As for the unit, it is clean but contrary to what the ad states, there is no chair nor table in the room (only on the upstairs terrace) And the equipment is pretty simple : microwave, mini fridge and tiny coffee maker but: no bowl, no plate, no real cutlery. Cleaning was done once every 2 days which was great!

“Just okay for a short stay”

The location is convenient and getting around by the buses or taxis is very easy. There is not much around the hotel though and very few places to eat out within a walking distance. It is nice to stay close to the beach yet there were very few sun beds available and occupied from early morning till late. A plus for a small refrigerator in the room. AC working fine. The host was responsive and provided all the necessary information upon arrival and during our stay.

“Amazing Seaview”

Staying studio 2805 was fantastic. incredible seaview with balcony as well as a terrace on the lakeside. so sunrise and sunset can be seen. it was amazing. All facilities available and clean. The ocean on front has some rocks but just a few meters to the left no more rocks. Some supermarkets and places to eat on walking distance, rest by car or bus/taxi. If you like a quiet area this is where to go.

Great location. We booked it last minute and it exceeded our expectations. Michelle the host was very responsive and a please to deal with. Gave great advice on traveling around the hotel area and restaurants and was very responsive throughout. The complex itself was very safe and had a lovely pool and beach access. Very happy with our stay.

“Great value for your money”

The check in was smooth, Michelle provided us with all details, what to do. Unfortunately there was hurricane in Cancun, but Michelle upgraded us to other room and all minor issues were gone. The rooftop terrace was great.

Perfect location for our needs. I travelled with my dad to celebrate his retirement. Property is in a quieter area at the hotel zone, which was perfect. Beautiful beach. Nice pool. Staff was friendly. Room was supposed to be cleaned every three days, but the cleaner came more often. I wanted a lower accomodation as I prefer to spend my money in good food and experiences and the apartment was what we needed. Very clean, bright, beautiful views of the sea and transport was excellent, as it stops next to the hotel and you can travel virtually everywhere in Cancun. Bed was very comfortable as well. We booked our taxi to and from the hotel through Michelle. I paid upfront in Mexican soles and he was there at the expected time for pick up and drop off. Very nice, chatty gentleman. We were able to visit downtown markets, where we bought local food like cheese, tasty fruits and we were able to cook them in the kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped. Michelle was available via WhatsApp and was kid enough to let us stay a little extra as our taxi to the airport was at 2pm. We didn't go to the hotel's restaurant as reviews were poor. I am unsure why some of the reviews were saying there's no restaurants nearby. We were advised to visit a couple of them and food was ridiculously good. All walking distance. If you're looking for luxury, this is not your place to stay, however, if you want a good quality/value ratio, here's Solymar. :)

“Fantastic”

We occupy the apartment facing the beach as a free upgrade offered by our exceptional host - Michelle. She made the holiday one to remember. The apartment was very clean, well maintain, we got all we need to self cater and helpful hint from the host on the vital get around tips.
