The Alghotel is located in Cancale, a 15-minute walk from the port. Although the room was small, it was very cleverly laid out and had everything you could need. Bed was very comfy. Nice decor. Spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast selection,including local yoghurt.

“Horrible place to stay”
Awful place, very strong smell of mold. Overall horrible stay. Would not recommend at all. Extremely over-priced. Old and very poorly maintained.

The hotel was run by very friendly staff. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. We had easy access to the carpark. It was a 10/15 minute walk to the centre. I would stay there again.

“Good overnight stop if you’re taking the St Malo to Portsmouth ferry.”
Easy to find after a long trip from our gite. Just 20 minutes from the port at St Malo which made it ideal overnight stop before catching the mid-morning ferry back to UK. Plenty of parking and hotel was happy to let us park there for several hours before we were able to check in. Comfortable room and bed. Plenty of dinner options within 20 minutes of the hotel.
