Overview
Just 10 minutes' drive from Canal San Bovo, Chalet Nel Doch Villa Cheia has a peaceful location in a nature park around Lake Calaita. It offers elegant accommodation with wood-beamed ceilings. All spacious and well-equipped, suites and chalets here have a characteristic mountain design. They all come with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee-making facilities. Each one has a balcony overlooking the surrounding Dolomites. Breakfast is buffet style and the restaurant serves South Tyrol specialities at dinner. Each guest has a free welcome drink in the bar on arrival. Villa Cheia is 15 km from the ski area of San Martino di Castrozza. The thermal spa of Baita Oasi is just 4 km away, while the nearest train station is 20 km away in Feltre. A free shuttle bus is available to the station, ski area and other destinations on request.

“A wonderful stay in a beautiful location”
We loved everything! A beautiful, serene location where you wake up to the gentle sound of birdsong and distant cowbells. Very kind, charming and welcoming hosts. A comfortable,spacious alpine style chalet with a fantastic view of the surrounds. Amazing hiking nearby.

“An excellent stay in the nature with great food and alpacas”
The staff is extremely nice, sympathetic and takes extra care of everything. The place is best for those who want to escape the city life and want to spend a few days in the middle of nowhere in the woods surrounded by alpacas while having access to comfortable rooms and extremely good and reasonably priced dinners and breakfasts.

“Paradise in the heart of the mountains”
From the property to the location, the landlord and staff to the the pleasant welcome and incessant support, everything was simply perfect. Perfect to bring your pet and the presence of the Lamas and Alpacas gives it a special environment. Breakfast is great and prepared with most care by the so kind owners. The suite was so clean and kept clean all the time, and is also so cosy. The landlady has offered to show us the pad for the trekking circuit and the location of the best restaurants. This is true holidays, true rest and peace of mind. A true gem located in the peaceful mountains that I truly highly recommend.

“Hidden gem in the Dolomiti”
This place is a hidden gem, secluded and never overwhelming due to the limited amount of chalets. The location is a dream, the travel there through the twisty gravel mountain roads is already preparing you for the relaxing days ahead. And the hospitality is just unbeatable. Actually I should stop writing, I would like to keep this to myself, it is such a fantastic place, with great food and wine to match the scenery.
