A small room in an apartment complex on a quiet street, located close to a sport stadium, so very easy to find. The private host welcomes you personally and sends you useful information about good restaurants and the stops of local buses that go to, for example, the Troia Museum.

“A clean accommodation in Çanakkale”

A clean accommodation within walking distance from seafront and center of Çanakkale. Owner was very friendly and went out of his way to make it a comfortable stay. My feeling? Not a luxury hotel, but more of a friend's place where I want to come back some day. Recommended!

“Easy and convenient!”

Clean and comfortable room located in a great spot in the city. Close walk to the waterfront. Host was friendly and really made you feel welcome.

Although the furnishings were basic, the bed was extremely comfortable, there was a good fridge and the host did a load of washing for us for free. It was only a short walk to the waterfront and felt safe and secure. For the price, it was excellent.

Super helpful staff. Helped with laundry, recommendations for food and getting the shuttle bus to Troy. Very reasonably priced.

The owner was very rude . We have notified him that we were arriving by bicycle and he the. Shouted and screened at us as he didn’t want the bike in his garden He then proceed to have a huge argument with the guy who had originally greeted who seemed as perplexed about the whole bizarre situation as we were So beware of a very irate owner

The owner was very friendly and even recommended a place to eat, where he asked the restaurant owner to give us discount because we were staying with him. He helped us with our baggage and made the experience personal. He was also proactive in sending information and anything we might need to know beforehand.

“A very memorable stay at the NR1 hotel!”

A very memorable stay at the Nr1 Hotel. The owner is extremely humorous. His communication skills are excellent. The most helpful and friendly owner of a hotel I’ve ever stayed at. He walked me to a local restaurant, literally 100m away, which became my favourite in Canakkale. And he shared with me the mini bus station (which is under the bridge) and timetable for me to venture to Troy for a day trip. My room was very quiet and uncomfortable. This hotel is within an easy walk of shops, cafes, restaurants, river & the beach. Thanks for having me! 10/10.

Great location. Very friendly host and particular love for Aussies and Kiwis. Gave us a free upgrade and did our laundry for free which was very kind. Lots of recommendations for the area that were great. Very good directions to property and where to park.
