Overlooking the Dardanelles Strait, The Akol is located in the heart of Canakkale, only a few steps from the seaside. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony and views of the water. Location is perfect right by the port in between Troy and Gallipoli. Staff very helpful with parking and service. Walking distance to restaurants cafes shops and the port. Also a couple of museums nearby

“Hotel with an excellent location & great potential”
The hotel is located right across the road from the harbour with great views of the bay from the breakfast area and just 2 blocks from the quaint, trendy city area. The lobby & lounge area is spacious and welcoming. The hotel has a lot of potential but needs some upgrading. The manageress upgraded us to a larger family room after I expressed my unhappiness with the bathroom of the room we were allocated. All amenities are provided in the rooms. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a decent selection to choose from and the eggs are freshly prepared on request by the chef. The hotel has free parking which was quite convenient.

“Good value for money”
Location was central Good breakfast with many options AC didn’t work initially but they fixed this quickly, Shower was old and temperature hard to maintain. Staff were very helpful
