Ms. Ha really knows how to make you feel welcome and at home. The rooms are quite simple but the best part are the activities that she personally organize and lead. It is an amazing way to explore the Mekong Delta area and to get to know better some locals way of living. Trust her on the activities!

“It’s not just a stay, it’s a whole amazing experience”

The whole experience was just perfect. Ms. Ha sent us very clear explanations on how to reach her guesthouse which made the journey from HCM easy and stress free. We arrived in the afternoon and Ms Ha welcomed us with fresh watermelon! She also gave us great recommendations for places where to try local food, and the center of Can Tho is just 5 minutes walking from the guesthouse. The room was basic but amazingly clean, and had all the necessary amenities to sleep comfortably. She was also our tour guide and brought to visit the floating market and the noodles farms, and she brought us to a very local market.

“Fabulous guesthouse host and local tours”

The accommodation was great value, the room which was no frills provided everything we needed including warm water, air con, a nice, firm bed and a pillow filled with cotton (kapok) from local trees (seriously!) I slept like a baby! Ms Ha was an exceptional host, a non nonsense, yet a fun and big hearted powerhouse of a woman with unbelievable energy and dedication to serving her guests. In the short time we stayed at the guesthouse (a day and a half) we attended both her tours, both 6 hours long and led by Ms Ha herself - we just had time for one and a half hour's sleep in-between the tours! She charges a fair price for the tours, which may initially appear pricey given the low price of the room but, as others have said, Ms Ha's tours are fascinating and unique with no other tourists around and she provides a continuous supply of local fruit, snacks and drinks and info so, in my view, it is well worth the cost. She went out of her way to find me gluten-free food due to my coeliac disease. We reported a leaky tap in the bathroom which was repaired within a couple of hours. On our check-out day Ms Ha had arranged a taxi for our very early departure to catch a ferry to Con Dao and she was up before us, 4.00 a.m., to instruct the driver, give us our takeaway breakfast and check us out. She was also preparing for her next 5.00 a.m. floating market tour... Total respect for this amazing, super- organised and totally lovely woman ✊

“Perfect stay”

We had a wonderful stay. Ms Ha and her family were very welcoming and helpful hosts. Our room was clean and comfortable and fulfilled our requirements. Great location, being a short walk to the river and markets. We took two excellent tours with Ms Ha during our first stay. Enjoyed them so much that we came back to Thank Ha Guesthouse for an extra night to take an additional tour. She ensured that we had an interesting and fun time, and fed us well with plenty of "yum yum"! This stay, along with Ms Ha's Mekong Delta tours has been one of the highlights of our South East Asia trip.

We loved our stay with Ms. Ha. We were a bit hesitant before coming because we couldn’t believe all the positive reviews, but they turned out to be absolutely accurate. Starting with the room - it was spacious and spotless! We also loved the morning tour to the market and other hidden gems. Hats off to Ms. Ha for such great organization. The location of the guesthouse is also very convenient, within walking distance of the center.

Ha doesn't just care about her guests; she genuinely cares about everything around her, from the neighbours to the entire city. Her tour on the river is possibly the most authentic you can find.

The floating market tour. It’s pricy (1m vnd/pers) but it worths it. Ha knows everything and everyone. She has been guide for more than 30 years. You Will have a real experience with locals, you won’t go where the tourists go. The tour includes boat tour, noodle fabrics, food market where it s’ become like a food tour, we loved it !

- the niece prepared breakfast which was very nice and lovely - always tea and fruits available (for free) - water and beer available for sale (and good prices) - location is great very close to everything important, can just walk to night market and restaurants and ATMs, etc. - Ms Ha will arrange for you to be picked up (for free) by Minibus if you have booked your Busses via FutaBus, which is very convenient - generally nice to have the “tour guide” as the house owner (Ms Ha), that way you have easy access to nice tours - Ms Ha really knows the locals so she might be able to give you some insight other might not be able to give you - Ms Ha speaks really good English, which is very convenient and helpful, she also always tries to help you (even tho you sometimes didn’t ask for it and maybe didn’t even want help) - Ms Ha prepared a nice breakfast for us for the morning of the boat tour on the water

We took the boat tour in the morning and it was fantastic. We were a small group of 6 and she took us places away of the conventional touristic places (local market, noodle factory and more). It was very well planed and she gave many informations along the way. We tried many diferent food and learned a lot about Vietnamies life style.

We spent incredible 2 days with Ms. Ha in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta. In 1 1/2 days we did three tours in total (floating market, fish farm, mangrove forest and a lot of traditional factories). It was an unforgettable experience and we didnt have to worry about anything. During the tour everything (food, drinks) is included. We were able to see so many nice places besides the touristic spots. The accommodation is really clean and has everything you need. We highly recommend the tours with Ms. Ha

We booked Ms Ha’s Homestay as we wanted her to take us for a tour of the floating markets. Ms Ha’s house was like a home away from home. It was in a central location, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay . Ms Ha looked after us for anything we needed and was a wealth of knowledge . Her tour was great , we were on a smaller boat which meant we could go off the beaten path and see more of the way of life of the people of the Mekong river. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an authentic experience.

Ms. Ha was absolutely amazing. We arrived quite late from Ho Chi Minh and she was waiting for us with fresh cut fruit and a smile. The room was super clean and comfortable. We wanted to see the Mekong floating market the next day and she offered us her tour. It was an amazing private tour from the floating market to the different places she brought us after that, experiencing real vietnamese culture. She even helped us book our bus ride back to Ho Chi Minh! No doubt Ms. Ha and the Thanh Ha Guesthouse is the place to stay! <3
