Overview
The Relais Borgo Campello is a widespread structure within the medieval village of Campello Alto, consisting of the Castle and the Convent. Respectful of the original medieval environments, our spaces have been designed to respond to modern functionality and comfort, with a minimalist touch. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a restaurant, conference room, gardens, terrace and bar and elegant rooms and apartments. Overlooking the hills, rustic-style apartments and suites feature a living area plus a bathroom with free toiletries. Apartments also come with a kitchenette. Guests can relax in the spa’s sauna and hot tub. Massages are available on request. Situated on the Via Francigena walking track, Relais Borgo Campello is 2.5 km from the centre of Campello sul Clitunno. Spoleto is a 20-minute drive away.

“Tranquility at its best what a place to chill and unwind from the stress of life”
The old convent was really beautiful so quiet and peaceful but is approximately 12 km from Spoleto in a remote mountainous location taxis are difficult to to get and are expensive each trip to and from the premises cost approximately 100 euro per trip The restaurant on site was amazing and food delicious , the views from the premises cost approximately were incredible and the sunsets spectacular, we are there to walk a few sections of the St Francis Camino and the accommodation was just off the route which was a bonus

“Private Hilltop with Convenient Access to Local Area”
At this property, you are basically staying in your own private village. The views from the property were stunning and it was still within reasonable driving distances of Man beautiful villages and towns. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was interesting to learn about the unique history of the place from them. Good, fresh quality breakfast with lots of options for those with special dietary requirements.

“Beautiful location, kind staff, comfortable room”
The location was incredible and the view from our room and the balcony at night, with the sunset, was breathtaking. The room was very comfortable with air-conditioning and a nice bed. We had a glass of wine on the terrace with the sunset on the recommendation of the staff and it was one of the nicest glasses of red wine I had in Umbria - which is saying a lot! The staff at the check in desk were also very lovely and helpful.

“Memorable”
Great experience staying in the converted nunnery - lots of reminders of its history. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also good. The hotel is very well furnished and the staff were very helpful.

A great location for us as it is on the St Francis Way which we were walking. Wonderful views, nice restaurant for the evening. Staff were very attentive. They made some light food for us, a ham and cheese panini, as we arrived at lunchtime.

“Fab converted monastery with incredible food.”
Converted monastery so it is full of character. The restaurant was incredible - food of exceptional quality. It was too early in season to eat outside but excellent outside terrace with amazing views - will be spectacular in summer. The staff very friendly and helpful. I stayed there whilst walking the Via de Francesco as it is directly on the route.

“A step back in time in a Medievel Castle”
The Junior Suite, located in the Medieval Castle, was impressive. It had natural lighting and a small outdoor garden. The castle is very quiet and a few steps away from the spa and massage area. Staff is very helpful, polite and professional and did their best to change room types.
