The location is very central and close to the promenade.

We booked and paid for our stay but when we arrived it turned out that the hostel was closed. The owner did not communicate that to us in advance and we ended up waiting for hours and needed to find another accommodation. We did get the money back but lost a lot of time and stress.

The location was excellent. Right in downtown.

It was in the middle of the historical centre of the city. The lady was very helpful and sympatic, also her cat Apollo :). Prize was very good.

We arrived late at night so we couldn't make check in but this is kind of fair as this is not a hotel but more like bnb so if you are going to make a reservation make sure that you are going to make a check in between 3 and 9 pm

The place is ideally located nearby the main square. There is a nice patio inside to chill. Also we were alone so we enjoyed a quiet time for a change which was pleasant. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owner's brother-in-law in her absence, who was very friendly and arranging.

This place is amazing for the price you pay and it exceeded my expectations, I would definitely here stay again. I instantly felt at home and comfortable. The host is very nice and there's a super, awesome cat!

We came for the cat! We love cats and when we saw there is a cute bundle at the location we booked. Apolo the cat was indeed very lovely and playfull cat. He almost slept with us :) The location of the house is super central and convenient. The host was very nice, friendly and gave very useful tips for our short stay in the city.

I enjoyed my stay at Joycers place. I got a room on my own and a bathroom + kitchen which I shared with Joycer. She was a great, uncomplicated host. Although we couldn‘t talk that much (since I don‘t speak Spanish and she doesn‘t speak English), the comunication was great and the vibes were lovely. I felt welcomed and free to do whatever I liked. The location is perfect, right next to the main park and right in the historic center. Couldn‘t ask for more for that price.

Joy is super sweet and helpful. I was late because my bus was delayed but she made sure I could check in. The communication was very good. When I arrived I felt welcome. She explained everything and gave me information about Campeche. She is a good hostess and made me feel at home.

Great place directly in the city centre of Campeche, close to everything. The room was simple but very comfortable, kitchen had all I needed and the place was overall very clean. Can definitely recommend!

We only spent one out of the two planned nights there. In general we are not difficult when it comes to accommodation but this place is not recommendable, to say the least: the room had no window nor air conditioning, only a huge fan which made the sound of an airplane taking off when turned on - but the heat and lack of air makes it unbearable to sleep without it, so you better bring good earplugs with you. The rest is okay but we were only allowed to take one bottle of water per person, which is the first time this happened to us since we have been travelling and staying in hostels in Mexico. You also have to pay a fee of 15 pesos per hour (!) to leave the bags during the day after check-out. This was also a first in comparison with all the other hostels we have been staying at. The host is nice and knowledgeable about the area and tourist attractions, but only spoke Spanish. She was also late for our arrival and we had to wait for 15 minutes in the rain even though we had agreed on an arrival time. Aside from location, the main plus side was the cute cat which was also the reason why the host was late for our arrival as it had to be vaccinated (at 10 pm)…. All in all we don’t recommend staying here.

“A little home away from home in Campeche”

I loved staying here. Joy is so kind and nice to talk to. She helped organise a trip for me which i will be forever grateful for. The rest of the time i spent in Campeche i just hung out here because it felt so comfortable. The place itself is nice. Campeche's hot but i managed to sleep well every night because the rooms are comfortable and have powerful fans in. There's a nice kitchen to cook your food in and a nice little garden area to hang out. The wifi was always quick. She has a washing machine so you can do your laundry. And she has a little cat that i called the little tiger because he was so playful. A really lovely place to stay that feels like home

The host was super friendly and made whatever was possible to welcome us properly. The location is indeed in the Center of everything no complains about it.
