The place was clean. A bit of a throwback, the rooms were dated, in the bathroom all we had those small round bars of soap wrapped in plastic and impossible to open + a very small container of shampoo. So it could do with bringing its ideas into the 21st Century!

Great location in the centre of Campeche, 5 minutes from the main square.. It's a bit dated and the rooms on the ground floor are dark and a bit austere. The best choice is a junior suite with a terrace. The staff are friendly and helpful - there was a bit of confusion with our booking, which they sorted out quickly and without any hassle. There is an in-house restaurant, very lacking in ambience and tailored to the large tour groups that use the hotel. We only ate breakfast there - with all the fantastic restaurant choices in the city, why would we eat dinner there - and it was OK, although the portions were good. Would we stay here again? Yes, but it would never rate as our favourite.
