Very comfortable and the owner was a good host.

I was somewhat disappointed with the breakfast. Although the pancakes were delicious, there was no protein (sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. ) available. Was hoping for more substance. I found the owner, Michel, very pleasant and welcoming. The inn was very historic and very clean and cozy. Like walking into the past. The bed was very comfortable.

My stay here was very pleasant and I will come back here when I'm visiting again.

Michel is super funny! I was running way behind my check-in time and Michel was so kind, that he stayed up late to receive me. The room and common spaces were so clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the washrooms were super clean. Michel makes some of the best pancakes for breakfast. Out of the many things that he makes, I tried the blueberry jam and maple syrup which were out of this world. We shared beautiful conversations about cultures, the land and Michel beautifully shared his perspective about the importance of being connected to nature. The man knows how to put a smile on anyone's face.

We had a great night at the MacKenzie house. It was everything we expected with a great breakfast in the morning before our departure. We had a shared bathroom but was not an issue at all as it was just down the hall and we didn't have to worry about it being in use when we needed it as there were two at our disposal.

Nice quiet location - we booked a room with a private bathroom, and appreciated that. Lots of stairs in the home, but I believe rooms on the main level. Great breakfast.

Super host; beautiful old house; great value

Very friendly host who made us feel at home. Old-fashioned B&B experience with good conversation with other guests. That's getting hard to find these days. Large fridge and freezer available to guests. Super breakfast of pancakes and home-made maple syrup and black currant jam.

Comfortable and peaceful

I liked the attitude of the owner Michel Bujold. Just his presence in the property is enough attraction to visit again. He was not just an owner but a friend and guide. Cheers to you Michel
