Beautiful property on the hills of Tuscany, large apartment with fully equipped kitchen and nice terrace. The owners are very kind and helpful. Don’t forget to order breakfast at least once in your stay because it’s very very good. However the house is little bit remote, but the position, surroundings and their olive groves are so beautiful you quickly forget you are far.

Our 5 nights at Podere Il Sorbo simply could not have been better. From the moment we arrived (by rental-car) we felt totally at home. Amazing views all around. The area is rural and laid-back. Matteo and Michaela are such warm and attentive hosts. Giving us loads of great tips on where to go in the area. Our girls LOVED playing with the friendly dogs and cats. It was olive-harvest time and we were welcomed to join the picking-crew. It was so much fun to do. Matteo arranged a very interesting tour in the olive-press afterwards. On our last night we joined the whole family for a tasting of the fresh oil and home-made delicacies in the cozy 'breakfast-room. An unforgettable Italian experience. We did not want to leave..

“Fabulous Italian villa overlooking the Tuscan hills”

We travelled for 3 weeks in France and Italy. We enjoyed many hotels along the way, but Podere Il Sorbo was our favorite of all. We would gladly give 11 if we could:) We stayed in the upper apartment that has two bedroom and can easily accommodate 5 people. Everything was thoughtfully decorated and prepared in all details, including a small map with a list of best Tuscan villages to visit. All the necessary tool and ingredients for cooking were available (including home-made olive oil and pasta!) The apartment was brand new and spotless. The view from our bedroom was fantastic. Matteo is an extremely gracious and welcoming host. It was easy to communicate since he is fluent in English. Everything was simply perfect. We loved our stay. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly!

Its in a beautifull setting and well equiped with everything you need. Next to this Matteo is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is great and they keep track of allergies. The internet is strong enough to work from so a great little retreat! Definitely recommend it (also take an evening around sunset with the hottub, its totally worth it with the views!)

“Awsome stay at a beautiful place with amazing hosts!”

The appartment is indeed located in the middle of nowhere in Tuscany - but so quiet! So nice! We did relax a lot. The hosts Matteo and Michela are full of energy taking very good care of their guests. We booked breakfast on short notice. I am travelling a lot - but I never had that variety and choices. Daily different sandwiches, cakes, fruits, local bakeries, eggs/omlette, coffee, cereales, milk, joghurt ... awsome! All fresh and homemade. Tables in/outside "dressed-up" - just amazing. You should offer cooking sessions, pasta courses etc. - your guests will love it. Have a look in the map with recommendations provided by Matteo and Michela for restaurants and wine tastings! Absolutley worth it! It is easy to reach if you follow the GPS provided by Matteo ("never turn left when leaving"). After arrival, sitdown, relax - have a drink and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

What an amazing place, so peaceful. Beautifully designed and curated both interior and exterior spaces. The breakfasts were out of this world. Homemade breads, local produce, fresh fruit, bottomless coffee. Stunning vistas in the heart of the 'sweet hills' of Tuscany. Local farm to fork restaurant recommendations, lots of options for activities with the added bonus of a sauna and jacuzzi onsite. Superb stay with a very talented young couple with excellent English and a love of their land and community. We loved it and will definately be back.

Our stay was really fantastic! Too bad you can’t give a 10+, because if I could, I definitely would. We got a warm welcome and lots of great tips about what to do in the area, including nice places to eat. The place is nicely remote, so in the evening you can really enjoy the silence while sitting on the terrace. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed the presence of their dogs and cats. We will definitely come back here again!

The accommodations were amazing. It is 3 separate apartments in which you have absolute privacy. The apartments have a terrace with seating and sun loungers. Inside everything is clean, well thought out, cozy.You feel at home here. Matteo and his family live nearby, but you still have absolute privacy and peace. Matteo also gave us all the information not only about the accommodation but also gave us tips for trips to many places including restaurants. We were also given a map of places of interest created by Matteo. The apartments are new, very tastefully decorated and the views of the countryside are breathtaking. Communication was great, smooth. Matteo and his family are very friendly and nice people.I would definitely recommend this place if you want peace and don't mind travelling around by car.Matteo's family owns cats and dogs, who are also very friendly and used to people.We had them often in front of the apartment, but we had no problem because we love animals. We would definitely love to return in the future. So thank you.for a wonderful time spent with you.

The building and room is brand new inside and outside. There is also possibility to eat and sit outside with great view on tuscan landscape. In area you can park your car under the cover to protect him from the sun. You can reach the sea with no more than 1 hour of driving by car. The Owners are very kind, helpful and friendly. The Owners provided us also the tips and suggestions where to go, where to eat and where to make shopping close to the apartament. We highly recomend to follow their suggestions. We have visitted the great resteurant nearby in beautiful small city Camgnatico. That is the aparment for Mark 10 with no wondering.

The house is beautifully finished, in a quiet, peaceful area. Very clean. The hosts live next door and are very kind, very helpful. A good place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Our host was very helpful and accommodating - providing us with restaurant suggestions and ideas for places to visit - even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The accommodation was clean and had everything we could hope for. The welcome basket was also a lovely touch.
