Situated 600 metres from the centre of Camorino, Hotel Morobbia is a good base to visit medieval castles in the Bellinzona and Morobbia valleys. The restaurant serves specialities from Ticino. “it was very nice basic hotel with friendly staff andgood basic breakfast.”
The staff was very friendly, we could late checkin and the price was very good compared to all around in Locarno/Bellinzona, breakfast was good and included.

Very little choice at the breakfast buffet and the bread was old. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. On our last day, we wanted to have breakfast at 7:30 am but no one showed up. The hotel was still closed by 8:00 am and we could not even do a proper check-out.

We just used the hotel as a stop ower from Italy to Germany. It was easy hotel to use and clean .The service good the guy in Reception bring us all the way to room and showed everything

“Not acceptable reception attitude!”
Extremely unfriendly receptionist which screamed at us on the phone as we were 10 minutes late for the check in time! Absolutely not recommendable such kind of service in a hotel where you pay 180 CHF for a decent double room!

“Be aware, they don't give Ticino tickets”
The receptionist refused to give us the Ticino tickets. Initially he tried to put the blame on the covid-19 restrictions but after calling the turism office, the turism office said that normally everyone receives a ticket and the delivering of the tickets to all the Ticino hotels was working without any problem or restriction. Thankfully we went to the turism office of bellinzone ourselves and after hearing our explanation, they kindly gave us the two tickets we should have received directly from the hotel. The last step now was to get a stamp from the hotel Morobbia with the dates of check-in and check-out. We stayed two nights and the receptionist only printed on the tickets one night of staying. Be aware if you are staying in this hotel willing to get a Ticino ticket because you might not get it.

It's an OK price compared to other hotels around. The shower worked fine and the big balcony was nice.

“The property was ok, but it’s not worth the price.”
I liked about the property that it was really clean and the housekeeping ladies were always really prompt and fast. Also, everything in the room was pretty new and the beds were comfy. The location of the hotel is close to the centre and they also offered breakfast.
