Title: Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance and No Proper Hot Water We stayed at Zinnie Residence, Cameron Highlands from 20th to 22nd October 2025. The total cost was RM 3,087 with an additional RM 300 deposit. Upon check-in, we were assigned Unit No. 25, which was a corner unit — very spacious with 6 bedrooms, and all rooms were provided with extra beds as requested for our 16 pax group. However, our stay turned out to be very disappointing. Cameron Highlands was cold and rainy during our visit, with temperatures dropping to 18°C in the day and 16°C at night, but the water heater was not working. The water was extremely cold and could not be used for showering, especially for our elderly family members and babies. We immediately informed the owner, who advised us to ensure the plug was on and wait 30 minutes for the water to heat up — but even after waiting from 2 PM to 6 PM, there was no improvement. A technician was sent, but he couldn’t fix the issue either. To make matters worse, some rooms were dirty, and the carpets were dusty, clearly showing that no proper cleaning had been done before our check-in. After several complaints, the owner finally gave us another nearby unit (Unit 3A). Although the water heater in the new unit worked, it could not support 16 people — after just 3–4 people showered, the water turned cold again, and we had to wait 30 minutes to 1 hour for it to heat up. Because of this, we even missed our planned visits to tourist attractions that day. The replacement unit also had limited beds (only 1 per room), which was far from what we initially booked and paid for. Overall, I feel that the experience did not match the high price we paid. My family was very disappointed, and this issue caused unnecessary stress throughout our holiday. I strongly suggest that the management improve maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service, as guests deserve better, especially for the rates being charged.

The property is spacious and ideal for families travelling in group. The place is very close to city centre and very convenient.

The house is very large and spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped for a large gathering. We just had a few friends. The couch was super comfy (and massive), and the overall ambience was relaxing. Just what we needed after a road trip through Cameron Highlands' strawberry farms. Wifi was very fast and stable.

Exceptional house for a big family trip. A lot of restaurants and marts located just behind the property. Going to most of the places of interest and popular destinations at Cameron Highlands is within 30mins drive. Car porch fits 2 cars. Property is very well maintained, kept clean and tidy giving us a very comfortable stay. Rooms has individual clean toilets each. Beds were very comfortable and clean too. Overall, a very satisfied patron.
