Complaint Regarding Delayed Check-in and Renovation Disturbance During Stay (Booking No. 6503726106) Dear Hotel Manager, I would like to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at Copthorne Cameron Highlands from 13 June 2026 to 15 June 2026. Guest Name: Muhammad bin Ab Bakar Booking Number: 6503726106 Room Number: 607 Upon arrival, I experienced a significant delay in the check-in process and was only able to access my room at approximately 7:20 p.m. As a result, I spent nearly four hours waiting, which was highly inconvenient and affected my travel plans. Unfortunately, the situation became even more disappointing when I discovered that renovation work was being carried out in the room directly opposite mine. The continuous noise from the renovation was extremely disruptive, and the strong smell of paint and related materials was unbearable, causing me to develop a headache and making it difficult to relax and enjoy my stay. I promptly reported these issues to the hotel staff. However, no effective action was taken to address the situation or provide an alternative solution. Considering that I paid a premium rate for my stay, I expected a comfortable environment and a higher standard of customer service. Regrettably, the overall experience fell well below reasonable expectations, particularly with regard to guest comfort, communication, and service recovery. I respectfully request that the hotel management investigate this matter and provide an explanation regarding: The excessive delay in check-in. The decision to allocate guests to rooms adjacent to ongoing renovation work. The lack of action taken after my complaint was reported I have attached photographs taken during my stay as evidence of the renovation activities taking place directly opposite Room 607. The photos clearly show painting materials, renovation equipment, and work-related items being placed in the guest corridor.

Good hotel for the price, better to book online. You can request a balcony too. Staff were friendly, room was clean and spacious. Parking was proper and convenient. Facilities were okay and the view was nice.
