We stayed only two nights, one full day. Upon arrival, we were surprised that the owners warned us they had a dog, which was not mentioned in the apartment description, and that it roams in the yard and entrance area. On the second day it was lying in the passage right in front of the apartment entrance, and we had to ask for it to be removed, since it is not pleasant to run into a dog that doesn’t know you. The owner was initially kind, but later replied to our request to move the dog in a strange way, in capital letters, as if in disapproval. Owners should not allow such things to become the guests’ concern. Furthermore, it was odd that they barely agreed to let us dry laundry inside the apartment because of “too much moisture,” even though it would have been just for one day. They suggested drying clothes outside, which is not private at all, and the dog was freely roaming outside, so we gave up on doing laundry altogether. This already gave us the impression that guests’ comfort was not a priority. When entering the apartment (which is on the ground floor), we were hit by a bad smell noticeable throughout the space, partly from the furniture and partly from humidity. We managed to reduce it somewhat by spraying air freshener. The furniture was partly new, partly old. The description did not mention that the washing machine is not inside the apartment, but in another shared room. Otherwise, the apartment has everything needed, but much of it is outdated and in poor condition. We had to wipe down the tablecloth several times as it was dirty. The fridge was also dirty and full of crumbs, which we also found on the chairs. Around the coffee machine it was stained with coffee. If you want to cook something, you need a lot of patience because the stovetop (clearly not maintained) was difficult to ignite. We used our own travel pots and dishes, so we did not even bother checking the state of the provided ones. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, which we didn’t use.

Great base for exploring the Conero area. Short drive to Numana or Sirolo beach. We were lucky enough to attend the local wine festival in September. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Very friendly and easygoing hosts. Free coffee and rolls in the morning was a treat. Quiet residential area, safe parking provided by hosts. Really pleasant stopover.
