The place is beautiful up on a little hill with a great and relaxing view. The food is very good and we had most of our breakfasts and dinners there. Great value for money. Thank you John and stuff.

“Best place to stay in Cambutal”
We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 8 so that says it all. Wonderful location on the top of a hill - was super as was breezy. Large room, nice bathroom, lovely balcony. Restaurant was very reasonable and food was great. Breakfast was enormous. John and his family were super hosts, most informative and very obliging.

“Fantastic view and quiet place”
The view from the hotel is beautiful, super quiet place on top a hill but very central. The owner and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room is simple but comfortable. There are a small restaurante too.

“Must visit!”
Jon and his family created this cute place in the mountains with a beautiful view on the nature and sea. He gave great advice for surf spots, including how to get there and which tides work best. The food is all freshly made and tastes great! would definitely recommed

“Paradise found”
Absolutely loved the freshly cooked food! Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! Excellent location with amazing views! Extremely helpful with any questions! We would definitely come back again tomorrow if we could! Loved the outside shower...and the long stay guests helped create a welcoming family style atmosphere!

“Good atmosphere and a quiet place to enjoy the nature.”
It’s on a hill and you have a perfect ocean view, if you you are looking for a calm and relaxing atmosphere than this is the place. The host was really helpful and prepared vegan meals, which I really appreciated.

“A wonderful property hosted by wonderful people.”
John and his family are amazing hosts that made us fee so welcome from the minute we arrived. The view from the hilltop is amazing, im going to miss having my morning coffee overlooking the ocean while the resident parrot enjoys his breakfast at the next table. My only regret was not having dinner at the restaurant, the breakfast however was delicious.

“Family stay at Kambutaleko”
We had the most amazing stay at Hotel Kambutaleko. The staff is beyond friendly, the room clean and the food very delicious (especially the tarta de chocolate was our childrens favorite☺️ Thanks again for the special treat at our departure.) The beach is just a short walk away and good to manage. I can't find enough good words for this very special place.

Good basic acccomodation. No airco or hot water in my room (there is one room with airco). It gets hot in the room. We were in Cambutal for a fishing trip with friends. I was alone and basic was good enough. The food is very good, fresh and very affordable.
