There was all we needed for breakfast. The location was perfect. The accommodation was exceptionally clean. Lovely bed linen. Also it was lovely and warm when we arrived in the room. It was a very cool night outside and we were very cosy and comfortable.

The decor and setting was a beautiful surprise. I don't know what I expected but this exceeded it for me. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the added touch of warming the room prior to our return at night was hugely appreciated. Will definitely return when next in Cambridge and I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here.

We were only there for the night. Great place to stay after arriving back from Overseas before travelling down to the Bay Would fully recommend the Villa Shakespeare lovely spot and surroundings spotless accommadation and super comfy mattress and pillows. Great kitchen facilities for breakfast and meals. Would definitely stay again

This was a repeat visit having stayed 3 months prior. We enjoy the peacefulness of this property as well as the locality and convenience to the town centre as well as the Karapiro Event Centre on this occasion. We were able to communicate easily with the owner who lives off site.

It was something a little different. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure excellent. We loved the little kitchen hut that was so well set out with breakfast foods. A real added bonus.
