“We stayed for the Hobbiton half marathon so not a relaxing stay. Perfectly positioned between the serene town of Cambrid”
We stayed in the Pool Room. Perfect size for a couple with seperate large bathroom and laundry and a seperate bedroom to the living room. Beautifully decorated with simple elegance. The bed was queen sized and very comfortable with a choice of hard and soft pillow.

The location was lovely, rural and peaceful however nice and close to both Cambridge and Hamilton. Great half day trip around the Karapiro area. Shower was great (may not suit disabled or very elderly people with reduced movement as there was a large step up into the shower).

“Just what an Airbnb should be about - comfort”
Lynley and Terry were warm and welcoming - ngā mihi e kourua. We loved the peace and quiet of their property especially after a full day racing. Tamahere is an ideal location. Loved meeting their kurī too. Also loved the fact we could actually watch TV + and YouTube to watch the replays of the waka racing while we chilled. We'll be booking for next year.

“Highly recommended”
The pool house is a very well decorated and appointed accomodation. It was so relaxing, and had the added benefit of cooking facilities and even a laundry. Lynley is also an excellent host.
