It’s lovely treasure house ,there are beautiful art collections in the house the owner of the house is very hospitable, and very kind give me ride to the town .

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Maungakawa Villa. Lovely old villa full of character in a beautiful setting with beautiful gardens. We had a very warm welcome from Kaye with a bottle of French rose and some delicious cheeses to help us unwind after a long drive. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast.Ideal for exploring Cambridge and Lake Karapiro. We also enjoyed relaxing in the spa pool. Loved the Tui painting in our room.

Absolutely stunning stay. The hot tub was brilliant, the room was superb, and the views were unreal. The gardens are beautiful and the whole place is incredibly tasteful and exquisitely done. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. Kaye is a superb host with a great personality, incredibly helpful, and made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was outstanding and set us up perfectly for the day. You get what you pay for and this was worth every cent. Could not fault it in any way. We will absolutely stay again and next time we will be bringing our friends.

Great stay at the Villa! Fresh breakfast each morning, coffee, great muesli, a bit of conversation each morning... When you're travelling the little things make a real difference! Room was very comfortable and warm. A few treats were a very nice surprise. Great views of the old dairies. Anything you needed, it wasn't a problem. Very welcoming and if you're wanting a bed and breakfast with a comfortable and homely feel, than look no further.

We had a wonderful stay at Maungakawa Villa. The room was so comfortable with tea and coffee facilities plus homemade goodies. Proximity to central Cambridge and surrounds was perfect. The breakfasts were delicious. Kay was the best host ever1

The location, room and facilities were lovely. The warm welcome from the host was also lovely. Our room was located in an annexe to the side of the main house. Kaye is a truly lovely and welcoming person and this felt more like staying with family. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house, exceptionally caring landlady. Discrete entrance to the room. Beautiful garden with sculptures scattered around. Absolutely tasty breakfast, with a wide selection of cheese and pastries. Just outside Cambridge, just 5 minutes drive from city center.
