Very clean and bright. The staff were fantastic! We had messed up our dates, they were so helpful if sorting it out. We were really grateful. Location fantastic right opposite the beach and boardwalk. Brilliant shower! Breakfast and coffee from reception included.

It was a hidden gem in Big Sur. I was sorry I couldn’t stay longer. The room had a sense of the harsh environment, yet they managed to add a feeling of home. It was plain and simple, yet you could feel that the nearby ocean made it adventurous. The staff was super friendly and kind. If I return to explore Big Sur further, this will be my top choice for accommodation.

This place is amazing. Superb location and gorgeous rooms - ours had a fire and white wooden floorboards. Super clean and staff couldn’t be lovelier. Probably the best place we stayed the whole 2 weeks we travelled around California.

The style of the property, the position across the road from the beach, the small thoughtful touches such as Grown Alchemist toiletries, the quality of furnishings and friendly woman who worked at reception was super friendly and helpful and the room was spacious. Everything was great!

The room and bathroom were a good size, and the bed was comfortable. That said, the photos made the place look a bit nicer than it actually is. while generally accurate, it didn’t quite match the feel we expected. Considering the final price (once taxes are added), it felt a bit overpriced considering that it’s Cambria. The location right in front of the ocean might be ideal for those looking to surf or enjoy the beach more directly.

Great hotel just next to the Ocean on Pacific Highway. Great place to stay on the road between San Francisco and LA. Very comfortable and really spacious room. Just a few minutes walk to city center with good eating options. Very helpful team.

this place has been the most magnificent of all! We really enjoyed the hospitality of the lady that welcomed us on the evening when we checked in. She even let us use her sons bucket to play on the beach on that day. How sweet! the room was so pretty and clean and everything was just perfect, thank you!

Location is excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location - the upper decking to watch the sunset was an added bonus. Breakfast was a small snack of cake and hot drink, very pleasant. Staff were super helpful and informative. Rooms and facilities were great, just missed out on a fridge in the room (although we appreciated the silence!)
