Overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Moonstone Beach, this inn is 10 minutes’ drive to Hearst Castle. A fireplace and bathrobes are provided in all rooms. Moonstone Boardwalk is 100 feet away. Travelling with friends I chose Blue Dolphin Inn because of its location - have stayed in Cambria before - & its proximity to Hearst Castle. The location is excellent just across the road from the Pacific ocean with the beach and walking path easily accessible, it also very close to a restaurant thats serves great food. Check-in was very quick and he staff member was friendly and engaging offering advice about the area and places to visit. The room was large, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We were only there the one night, however we all had an excellent stay and would not hesitate in recommending this Inn to family or friends should they be visiting the area.

“Cosy & charming hotel by the sea”
We loved our one night stay at this gorgeous little hotel by the sea! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was so cosy, charming and very clean. We really enjoyed the delicious welcome cookies in our room and the view of the sea from our window. Moonstone Bay is an oasis of calm and beauty, just what we wanted on our Californian coastal road trip. We loved going for a stroll along the beach just across the street from the hotel as the sun was setting. The little town of Cambria nearby was lovely to visit too. We would recommend this hotel and love to visit again one day. It was one of our favourite hotels of our entire trip and the most reasonably priced.
