“A spacious apartment which we were happy with .”

We were self-catering and found everything we needed in the apartment. It had an old-fashioned charm, reminiscent of my parents' house—though I mean this as a compliment. We were very happy with our stay. Guests should remember that we shouldn't expect show homes for what are reasonable prices. The apartment was spacious and obviously a family home. I've noted that others have complained about non-matching crockery etc etc and other minor details, but we appreciated the space and homeliness. There was a TV in all the bedrooms and a garden at the back. There was a garage for a small car, but I chose to park directly outside on a reserved section of the pavement. The road could be a bit noisy, but the shutters on all the windows helped. I would return.

We were looking for a place to rest our heads on the way to the ferry from Germany. The location was outside on Cambrai, with parking on the street outside the front door. The keys were easy to collect.

Great location just off A26 motorway. Very easy to find and park. Accommodation had everything we needed for our overnight stop. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. A very interesting house.

Convenient, good value for money. I like the mid century Scandinavian furniture, especially the dining table and chairs and the two wooden arm chairs in the sejour. I would advise the owner that these pieces are too good for holiday lets, he should find out from a specialist if they are worth selling instead.
