Posada el Tocinero is set in the quiet village of Camargo, just 5km from the coastal city of Santander. It offers free public parking. We booked here for a one night stopover expecting little more than a bed for the night. No one spoke English which was unexpected and gave us a real Spanish opener to the holiday. The restaurant served a fantastic meal at very reasonable prices. The room was clean and comfortable. Would be more than happy to return.

Excellent location and Parking onsite, the accommodation was at the rear of the restaurant/Bar area. Which was clean and comfortable, but unsuitable for anyone with disabilities. Juan who was on bar duty during our stay was excellent and with a very professional friendly approach.

“Beautiful sky lodge type building pretty rural views and very quiet but lively happy bars and a bike”
Lovely food and proper Spanish breakfast..we also managed to try the local tipple made from Grapes and cream based.drink .It tasted like Baileys but stronger..loved the village its a great base to explore from. Would definitely come back to stay longer..Lovely family orientated owner.
