What a brilliant hotel, I cannot recommend it enough. Price was excellent, reception staff excellent, room excellent and all so clean. Location great to get back on to motorway. Also a brilliant Italian restaurant just a short walk away. We had a quite stressful day so arriving to Mercedes Hotel was brilliant. Thank you

Breakfast was adequate although no hot/warm choices of food. Amazingly thick, lovely towels in the bathroom. Location was good for me, fairly residential and only 10 mins from ferry for my next leg of journey. Very friendly receptionist who, it turned out, used to work in a hotel near my home in Menorca!

Very clean and comfortable. Great location not far from the ferry port. Shops are nearby to cater for all your needs. Staff are lovely and so helpful. The breakfast was nice had a good selection of food and catered for gluten free which was included with the room.

Location excellent. Near ferry port and a short walk to bus stop into Santander. Restaurants within easy walking distance. Continental breakfast had a wide choice of savoury and sweet options

The service was fantastic. The manager drove me to the airport because there were no taxis available. She did not need to do that but she went over and above and I am extremely grateful. The room was very nice too, great bathroom and shower. Great free coffee too. Highly recommend.

“An excellent pre/post ferry stopover.”

Easy parking, 15 mins from the port. Staff were very welcoming, everything clean and new. Great shower - the towels could be fluffier, but that's being really picky! There was no kettle in the room, so we had to go down to breakfast before the usual pint of coffee, but we survived! All in all,
