Everything was exceptional – from the breathtaking views of the Picos de Europa to the soothing sound of the nearby river and the constant chorus of singing birds. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. What surprised us most was that the place looks even more beautiful in reality than in the photos. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful; there is such a sense of tranquility that people almost seem to whisper, as if afraid to disturb the silence. One of the highlights of our stay was the traditional breakfast served in the garden. Enjoying fresh local products, homemade specialties, and good coffee surrounded by flowers, greenery, and mountain views was a wonderful way to start each day. Posada San Pelayo feels like a little piece of paradise. Nestled in lush greenery, surrounded by mountains, forests, and fresh air, it offers the perfect escape from everyday life. Waking up to the views, the birdsong, and the vibrant green landscape was simply magical. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we have ever stayed. We would gladly return.

Stunning location, could not get any better. Beautiful views from all around the property. The pool has gorgeous views of the mountains, and it is saltwater! Plenty of parking spots. Unfortunately, our schedule was so busy, and we didn't spend more time at the property. Lots of spaces to sit outside in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would definitely return. Also loved watching the sheep from our balcony at the nearby field.

Posada San Pelayo is idyllic. Its a stunning old property that has been carefully and meticulously made to be a calm and peaceful retreat. The lounge areas of the property are beautiful and the owners eye for detail is amazing. There are so many gorgeous things to look at and admire within the property. The owners are very helpful and accommodated a gluten free breakfast without hesitation. The pool was refreshing and a great bonus. We really didn't want to leave.

This is an absolutely stunning small hotel. Every detail has been thought out. It’s full of beautiful antiques. The beds are so comfortable. Beautiful bed linen Immaculate and clean. Breakfast excellent . The owners are very friendly and it’s like staying in someone’s home. Honestly bar is very handy. The little bar and restaurant 5 mins walk at the campsite is excellent food.

It was set in a lovely hamlet outside Potes. Quiet peaceful tranquil and idyllic. Beds were comfy, rooms spacious ; staff friendly and seating outstanding. Nice pool for swims after a hike in the mountains . Lovely little breakfast reasonably priced.
