“A hidden gem in the mountains of Veneto”
This place really stood out. Everything — from the beautifully designed little details to the stunning views — felt personal and thoughtful. Maria, the host, couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. You can tell she truly cares. The location was also super convenient for getting around and exploring different parts of Veneto.

“A lovely place to get away from it all.”
It’s in a beautiful location with a lovely view. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and cozy. The bed was comfortable. It’s a fabulous place to get away from everything. We ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent. The staff consists of mostly the owner and one or two others. This is amazing considering how well maintained the property is, and how great the food is. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to all. FYI the food in the restaurant is vegetarian.

I loved everything about this property- peaceful location with wonderful views, beautiful grounds, cosy little house and Maria, very attentive, friendly and hardworking person who had created this little paradise. Venice, Vicenza and other places of interest are easily accessible.

“Great location to relax with phenomenal view.”
Calvenere is located in a very nice area surrounded by nature and the view on the valley is phenomenal. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The host Maria gives many useful tips for things to do in the region; Venice and Milan are highly recommended as day trips.

“It's a place that you would hide from tourists... but it is such a gem between Venice and the Alps!”
..It's a place that you would hide from tourists but it is such a gem between Venice and the Alps! Calvenere, in the hills of Vicenza, is a "happy village". There are seven independent houses, each with its own almost total privacy and a spectacular view of the Venetian plain from all windows. All arounds there are blossomed trees, daffodils and botanical herbs... and baby deers! Each cottage has its own independent kitchen, and a fire stove heating the cosy room, but the restaurant is offering breakfast, dinner and lunch, all eventually vegan or for celiac and all brighted up by candle lights.. The first time we arrived Maria prepare to us a wonderful dinner directly on the cottage table, in front of the panoramic window... I completely fell in love in it!
