“Excellent hosts, great location”

Tina and Salvatore were amazing hosts. They picked me up and dropped me off at the bus station during my stay. They were also very responsive to queries. The b&b itself is in the centre of town so walking around is very easy. I had a nice view from my room which included the scala Caltagirone is famous for. Do note that this b&b is on the top floor and there are no lifts.

The hosts are extremely friendly and will do anything to help you. The room had everything we needed and my daughter enjoyed it. It is in a lovely location overlooking the square and you can get everywhere easily. Wish we had more time there as we only stayed one night.

Warmest Italian welcome in 21 days by Salvatore and Tina who picked us up from the bus station gratis Next day for cheaper than 2 tours from Catania and more comfortable with less distance .. Salvatore drove us to the incredible villa della casale unesco mosaics and back with lunches provided Breakfasts at home were good We were also driven to the bus station on departure again with lunch bags gratis Our room was spacious with 2 comfortable beds As was the kitchen we could use as if at home Could not be more central !

The location is excellent: in the middle of the beautiful town. Everything can be reached by walking. And it is a charming old building with beautiful floors throughout the place.

“Unique experience, you will not find such hosts elsewhere”

The owners are unique and exceptional. Such a welcome you experience once in a lifetime. Salvatore reserved a parking lot with his own car, they waited for us in front of the palace, arranged for the luggage to be carried to the apartment, immediately shared all the information needed and beyond. The view is simply amazing. And then the breakfast, with own fresh pack of traditional Sicilian sweets for each apartment . They couldn’t be more open hearted. All the rest is just fine, nice and clean room with amazing view.

Everything! The location is fantastic, the rooms are cozy and the views impresive. The hosts do everything and more to please!! We loved to have access to a living room and kitchen with free coffee and teas, fruit juices, water... it makes you feel at home. And best of all: the breakfast with Tina's tarts and/ or pastries from the best pastry in town. A good 10 to both!!

Tina was a wonderful host, super helpful and friendly. The building is an old palazzo and has a fantastic view over the main square. The room was bright and had everything we needed.

We were met very warmly by Tina and Salvatore and their friends, who shared their knowledge of the beautiful old palace. Amazing location overlooking the square and Scala. Hosts are an amazing source of knowledge and tips for places to visit and eat/drink etc.

Perfect location. Bang in the centre very clean and the rooms form part of a palazzo. The owner is extremely helpful too.

I satyed a couple of nights in the single room and It was perfect. Really cozy, beautiful, comfortable, clean... The bathroom was also impecable, with hot shower of good preassure, hair dryer, shower gel...✨ The staff was really helpful and friendly :) Tina and Desy gave me reccomendations of places to visita and where to eat, and Desy even came to pick me up by car to the bus station, so kind! Also, this place is in the absolutely best location, 100% central and you even get to see the famous beautiful stairs from the balcony of the common area/kitchen. There were several sweet things to eat for breakfast, coffee and tea 🫶🏼 I absolutely recommend this place if you visit Caltagirone, it's very good value for the price. Thank you so much! :D I'll for sure come back some day!

“Convenient location with great view”

An inn run by bright and kind Tina and Salvatore. You can see the plaza, cupola, and historic buildings right in front of your room. If you look to your right, you will see the Caltagirone Stairs. It's a lovely place. Convenient for sightseeing and dining. There is also a pottery studio to the left of the entrance to the inn, full of the atmosphere of Caltagirone! He was kind enough to take us to the bus stop. The bus was canceled in the morning, so he did some research for me. thank you for helping me.

“Very good, except for the noise”

The B&B is reachable by car (not within a ZTL), but parking might be difficult. There is a small inner courtyard where private parking is available for €8 per day. The rooms are on the upper floor of a historic building. While that is pretty nice, and gives great views, it also means that there are a lot of stairs to take. The views are very pleasing, looking out on a Piazza and you can even see the Stairs of Caltagirone in the distance. Our rooms had a private bathroom, which was a bit further in the hallway. The best beds of our trip. Tina was the most helpful and friendly host we've met during our trip in Sicily. I really wanted to give her 5 stars, because her positive energy deserves it.
