“Lovely location but property needs some attention”

Quiet, country location. Enzo is a charming host and he brought lovely pastries for breakfast each morning.

One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Sicily and a truly amazing experience! Located on the outskirts of Caltagirone in a peaceful area surrounded by former vineyards, this authentic ancient mansion allows you to enjoy and appreciate the bygone traditional Sicily. The mix of vintage furniture and decor adds to the overall classical atmosphere. Renovation works have been done where necessary without breaking the character of the place. All necessary amenities are available, including a fully equipped kitchen and new appliances, such as coffee machine, washing machine and even a clothes dryer. The wifi connection is stable and fast all-around and everything works perfectly. Despite being quite old, the palazzo is well maintained, clean and spotless, including the bathroom and the tub. The surrounding garden and patios are also being looked after. Enzo, the owner, was doing the utmost for our happiness and making sure we have everything we need during our stay. We really felt welcome here. We also appreciated the complementary coffee and tea, as well as a variety of snacks and croissants for breakfast. Arriving by car is not a problem, as there is plenty of parking in front of the property. We recognize that with sufficient investment this could easyly be converted into a luxury resort, however, a lot of charm and the opportunity to glimpse into the past would be lost in our opinion. We loved everything about our stay and we would gladly return anytime. Thank you Enzo for your hospitality!

“Peaceful and relaxing, a good place to use as a base for exploring.”

Lovely old Italian mansion. Apartment roomy, fully equiped kitchen, laundry facilities. plenty of room for parking. Appreciated the bottled water, and ice cubes. quaint balcony to sit on for meals. didn’t use the pool as it was a bit chilly, but it was very clean. Enzo very obliging.

Perfect Villa. Enzo was a great host. Easy to find. Very peaceful and very comfortable. Parking ia in the garden of villa. Breakfast was also great. Recommended for everyone.

Huge villa with two apartments. We booked both so the house was ours for over 2 weeks. Extremely nice and polite owner Enzo who you can contact any time. There is almost everything you need to live, prepare meals and rest. Bottle of wine and some basic food and drink at start. It's not regular B&B. You don't get breakfast every day but you have fridge and freezer and two supermarkets are 1km away. Car is recommended. Swimming pool was a bonus. Beautiful views from the backyard. Country escape yet so close to the town. Thanks for a lovely stay and more!

“It's a villa from 1900 with antique furniture, and all comforts”

What a fantastic villa! The building was constructed in the year 1900 and it has the luxury style of early XX century. Great to have an opportunity to sleep in such a place, full of antique furniture, The owner is very friendly, we got a bottle of wine for welcome. Breakfast was OK. Silent and relaxing place. Recommended!

We stay in apartments for only one day, it will be better to stay longer and to have time to discover the Citi, historica house, really perfect.

“Very spacious appartments in a Monumental villa.”

The atmosphere of this monumentale villa is absolutely great and the host Enzo is very friendly. We just stayed there for one day but we found a bottle of red wine, half a cake, milk, Juice and croissants for breakfast. The price is low.

Good place to stay. Everything was super. 1,1km from place is amazing restaurant. With Good price and really Good food.

Enzo the owner was extremely accommodating and really went out of his way to assist us. Great communication with him we had a problem with our vehicle and Enzo was super helpful . He even gave us a lift into the town , much appreciated all his help.

This is an extremely beautiful place. The villa itself is very beautiful and everything around is pleasing to the eye. We were offered a huge separate part on the first floor with a small kitchen and 2 huge bedrooms, each with a toilet. The host was super friendly. There were many mishaps on the spot, for which we are very grateful, because we did not have time to go shopping, but arrived with two hungry children. I highly recommend visiting this place.

“Beautiful 19th century villa in quiet part of Caltagirone, perfect for families.”

We stayed in this villa over the Christmas period and we loved it. The owner Enzo was very nice, caring and very friendly, texting us if we need anything all the time. Amazing original antique features and furniture we loved it ! We even had a beautiful Christmas tree and Panettone on Christmas eve ! We stayed only one week so didnt' explore the area much but if we ever come back to Sicily, this villa will be our first choice ! Thank you Enzo for your hospitality !

“great stay in authentic Sicilian property”

Great stay in a charming, rustique house just outside Caltagirone, we stayed there and went to the ceramics market. Mr. Enzo the host gave us all neccessary recommendations and help, including a bottle of local wine and chocolate for the kids. Super easy check-in and check out. 1.Very nice host with typical sicilian hospitality:) 2.Super spacious living space, including the big main bedroom, living room, kitchen, nice bathroom... 3.Abundant water, yoghurt, milk, fruits offered by the host 4.The villa is located a bit out of town, so we really enjoyed the bit of isolation in the countryside with a superb view.
