Overview
SOLYMAR Gran Hotel has an ideal setting next to Arenal Beach, on Calpe’s seafront. Rooms include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a free welcome pack in the minibar. This design hotel has a beach club and infinity pool, with wonderful views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Peñon de Ifach Rock. The Gran Hotel Sol y Mar is in the centre of Calpe, on the Costa Blanca. The town has a modern marina and an old fishing port. It is less than 20 km from Benidorm. The hotel's Food Gallery Restaurant serves fresh Mediterranean meals, while Abiss Restaurant Gastro Barra offers gourmet à la carte food. The Gran Hotel Sol y Mar also has an elegant lobby bar and the Dorée Gin & Sea bar serving cocktail and drinks. Access to the hotel’s spa comes at an extra cost. There is also a gym, with personal trainers and fitness classes.

“Another perfect stay at the Solymar”
Third stay at the Solymar and it was as good as the first. From check-in to departure everything was great. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities superb. Love the pool area, love the restaurant, love the location and the rooms. The food is delicious and even the drinks prices in the bars are reasonable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Calpe.

“I recommend this hotel, it is of very good quality”
The hotel is very nice, everything met our expectations, upon arrival we were treated to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for free as a compliment. Everything in the room was very nice, everything was clean, there were a lot of additional toiletries and even scales for weighing. The breakfasts are very good and there was a very large selection and it was surprising that live music was playing during breakfast. There are two pools which unfortunately were cold at our time, but we used the spa (this is an additional about 35 euros per person) and the spa was wonderful. Parking for my car for 2 nights cost 36 euros.

“Excellent Hotel in Calpe for cyclists.”
Great position in Calpe for cycling with great views of the beach. Excellent secure storage for bikes including a wash bay, work stand and tools and washer/dryer for kit. Also able to keep bikes in the room if you liked.
