“Great Experience”

We had a lovely stay. The hotel was beautiful, but what really stood out was the staff, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Well what a place. Family run, 5th generation I understand. Very welcoming with a chilled vibe and set up, didnt even feel like we were checking in to a hotel, it was perfect. Check in and check out was so smooth and easy. Lovely property, old and Italian and well kept with all the modern essentials. The staff were very friendly and helpful, William who served us in the morning and evening was exceptionally. It is refreshing to meet such kind people in the world - thank you William. We had our 9 month baby and they were most accommodating.

It was a beautiful place to stay, near to the bottom of the lake. The gentleman who met us (and later served us in the restaurant) was so helpful and friendly to us weary travellers! The meal that evening was wonderful and the included breakfast the next morning, was generous and tasty.

This place is a little gem. The building is stunningly renovated and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The courtyard garden is beautiful and quiet - great space for working and relaxing. I had dinner at the Osteria.....absolutely superb! I ordered items off the daily specials which were each amazing. Service is attentive and gentle. I was exceptionally grateful for the lift to the train station for my departing train - service over and above.

Marvelous Hotel and Restaurant! We arrived late afternoon, the day before, the owner had advised us to make a reservation in the restaurant, we did this and were very grateful for this advice: we were so hungry and the restaurant was full. Despite our delay in arrival for more than one hour, our seats in the restaurant were kept for us, and we had an exceptional supper. A superb atmosphere, absolutely delicious food, and excellent service. The room was so nice and comfortable. Unforgettable feeling! Thank you so much for your hospitality

“a perfect overnight stop before Lake Como”

Don’t even think about staying here and not trying yhe restaurant. The two go beautifully together. Not the most accessible bedrooms (up steep stairs) as I am blind but comfy and warm. We will be back!

We really loved everything! The hotel has an incredible atmosphere — cozy and truly Italian in its hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We especially want to mention the hotel restaurant — the dinner was wonderful, the food was very tasty, and the service was excellent. We will definitely come back!

We had an amazing experience at Locanda Osteria Marascia. Massimo, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can tell he truly cares about every guest. William was the perfect waiter — attentive, polite and with the kind of quiet elegance you’d expect from a butler. The restaurant itself is beautiful, combining the charm of an old house with a sense of comfort that makes you feel at home. The view over the mountains is stunning, and the whole place has this timeless atmosphere that makes you wish for a cold night and a fireplace to sit by. A truly special place — we’ll definitely be back.

We specially liked the warm welcoming and superb service in the restaurant and also in breakfast table by William. We travel a lot, but have not felt this genuine warm service long time. He is the real gem of the place! Also the hotel itself, the room and restaurant are ver beautiful, very nicely renovated with small details. Our room was also very big and comfortable.
