The hotel is decent from a functional and cosmetic perspective, the pools are nice and if you’re lucky you will see some beautiful sunsets. The cleaning staff were friendly and the room was clean.

“Lovely, relaxing stay at the H10 Atlantic Sunset Horizon”
The room was beautiful and very spacious. The bed was very cosy and comfortable. Bathroom was lovely. The Rituals products were very nice. We also really appreciated the toothbrush, toothpaste and razor. The balcony was lovely. Gorgeous seaviews. Great variety in the buffet each night and each morning. Great entertainment by night. We loved the Candle making class. Free shuttle bus to Playa Las Americas every day. Good variety of pools and lots of comfy sunbeds and umbrellas. We loved the infinity pool. Lots of snack bars. Staff were kind and helpful. We got a welcome drink and snacks on arrival and a lovely card and chocolates the night before departure. Great facilities for kids too. We had a lovely, relaxing time. Thank you.

“We had a really nice and relaxing stay, lovely room, great staff, nice food and super location”
We stayed in a prestige room for 9 days. the rooms are spacious and well laid out. Breakfast in the prestige lounge was lovely and, even though I am dairy free and eat no meat but fish, there was plenty of choice in the main buffet restaurant. This restaurant is very large and quite noisy at times and the hot food was mostly lukewarm but very tasty. The food in the Prestige restaurant was very nice and offered some choice for myself, the Japanese restaurant again is excellent but has the same menu every day. The choice and food in the Italien restaurant was a bit disappointing for myself. Service was always excellent and all the staff are very friendly. I really liked that all the outdoor pools were heated and warm enough to swim in March. The views from both infinity pools are stunning.

“VIOLATED BY STAFF ENTERING MY SHOWER CUBICLE!!!”
Half an hour before my taxi to the airport, I took my son (5 year old) for a shower at the gym. When I was in the shower cubicle with my son, the staff member at the gym entered the shower room unnannouced; came to our shower cubicle, looked in and told us to leave. I've never felt so violated at a hotel. My wife took our other son for a shower 10 minutes before in the same place, with no issue. On our way out of the shower room, the staff member was waiting for us - no apology. They were only interested in getting our room number - I assume to charge us for taking a shower, afer I'd spent €000s staying at the hotel. Any guest staying at a hotel should be safe from staff when they are in a shower cubicle or toilet, especially with a young child.

“Avoid this hotel!”
Staff were quite rude and unhelpful, the provided no information at check in about anything regarding the restaurants, towels, WiFi, shuttle to the beach or anything at all. We were given a piece of paper all in a different language that we were unable to read. To have food anywhere you have to book a table, when you walk up to the ‘pool’ bar and it’s empty still you are told to go to a desk and use a code to book a table. Restaurants were empty with numerous tables available for food but we were turned away. The location is awful unless you literally do not want to move from the hotel at all. No walks, shops or anything around without a half hour taxi. EVERYTHING is maximum charge! You can barely get a cup of water without being charged ridiculous amounts. No entertainment as it says, kids pool closed at 5pm which in my opinion is very early. Reception staff were not warm and welcoming they were rude, you felt like a nuisance asking anything. Reception bar/outside seating was non existent. We were half board but when you have a meal in the evening they charge you and give you a 30% discount for this again this was not explained. We booked and paid for the 2nd best room in the hotel, because it was the best room to fit our family and along with this didn’t feel like it! Having stayed in many places that are stunning and 5* they can’t do enough for you this hotel is the complete opposite. Unless they can constantly charge you for something they do not want to help. We requested a late check out, it was available for our room and we were again charged per hour with a minimum of 2 hours of €30 per hour. Having spoken to a few other guests they all commented this was a ‘fancy’ business, weren’t happy about having the constant charges no flexibility or willing to help guests.
