We have stayed here on previous occasions and have always enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant. (The bread was stale). The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly .

“Excellent value for money stay”
Very good value for money while on the road. Location though is not in Calimanesti but 6 km away. Nice views of the river, clean and noise from the street was not excessive despite massive traffic. Excellent breakfast with cold and warm food.

“Great location”
Second time staying here. Great location for travelling, excellent value for money. Good food in the restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable with a very useful fridge. Will definitely stay again.

“Perfect”
The breakfast was very consistent and the staff was pretty nice. You have the Olt River next to you. I was there because I have some work in Caciulata, it was very close to us (7.5km) and about 10-15 mins with the car.

“Exceptional”
We needed somewhere to break our journey between Sibiu and Bucharest but had fairly low expectations for our stay at Motel Blue River Calimanesti given how cheap the room was, so we were blown away when we arrived in our room with an amazing river view! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site which is very convenient and we had both dinner and breakfast there, enjoying our breakfast on their terrace in the morning. The staff were lovely and we appreciated not needing to check out till midday as this allowed us to have a very leisurely breakfast. Incredible value for money and we would definitely stay again should we return to Romania again in the future!

“Great value, great location.”
Excellent location for travelling. Beautiful views at the rear. plenty of parking. Good size room with a very useful fridge. Onsite restaurant with plenty of choice and reasonable prices. Will definitely stay again.
