“A wonderful locaton, will return”
Staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was great especially during weekends. Alla carte menu was variated with plenty of good options and good desert. Spa met expectations both indoor and outdoor. Clean room, big and warm.

Clean, cozy. The SPA area isn’t that spacious, but in Sept it wasn’t that crowded. Not a lot of activities to do around if you have small kids, but this has nothing to do with the hotel. If you’re a young couple with kids it’s a good stay for 2 nights.

“Reasonable weekend getaway”
Nice hotel, a lot of interesting art deco design elements in the lobby and restaurant. Unfortunately, it is positioned with half of the rooms facing the crowded driveway, so you can hear all the busy traffic noise. Nice rooms, good heating, but the ventilation system is noisy. The shower is one step higher than the bathroom floor, prone to water leaking all over the floor. Nice restaurant, with live entertainment better than in the other hotels of the area. Good spa, but towels for the spa are only available in the rooms and are only changed by cleaning personnel upon request. So, if you need a clean spa towel, you have to go through a lot of awkward interactions. For instance, when I asked for clean towels in the spa, I was told to ‘speak with the girls upstairs’. I went to reception, they phoned the cleaning lady on the floor, then went to my room and was met outside by the cleaning lady with fresh towels, as well as with the message that ‘she felt bad when told by receptionist to change the towels and I should have gone to her directly’. So, quite a lack of reasonable procedures, also seen in total inflexibility to late check-out. Most hotels would provide such options, either free of charge to attract customers or at an extra cost, given that most tourists come over the weekend and leave on Sunday (so, there is no high pressure to have the room ready for the next guests on the same day).
