“Our favorite guest house”

It was amazing! Probably our favorite guest house we have ever been to. Location is impeccable, you wake up seeing the sea, feeling the breeze through the open window. Perfect relaxation!! Bed is wonderful, not as hard as often in the region. Everything you need is in the spacious room (water kettle, microwave, etc). Next door is a supermarket and a breakfast spot. On the ground floor there is a great restaurant (taste the fried shrimp!). Last but not least: Christine is a wonderful host, with great recommendations in the region and beyond. We can highly recommend!

Incredible view. Spacious appartement. Christine is a kind and attentive host. The place is very clean. There are some very good restaurants at crawling distance. Perfect spot to explore the north of Dominica, which is less touristy and has some very nice beaches.

Location was perfect. There were three restaurants within 1 minute walk that were all exceptional. Location is 20 minutes from the airport and the best beach in Dominica...Batibau. The host was extra informative and sweet. If you decide to stay close to the Capital you would have to drive 1.5hrs to get there compared to the 20minutes in Calibishe.

The soothing sounds of the waves create an atmosphere of pure serenity. What made our experience even more unforgettable was Christine. Her genuine care and kindness feel like they belong to a bygone era. She was always attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Christine has a remarkable soul, and we sincerely hope to meet her again someday. Thank you for everything—you gave us the most amazing time! Visiting Dominica was an extraordinary opportunity, and we are forever grateful for the memories we made here.

“Lovely stay with a lovely host, would 100% book again”

Clean well presented and decorated property. Had everything I needed a nice shower was located by plenty of restaurants and bars. Close to little market shop and ATM I found the WiFi to be better than on other islands really quick to upload Facebook posts and have video chats with friends. The host was fantastic and the reason I picked the place… very accommodating and went above and beyond.

The location of Christine's place can't be beaten, we could stare out at that view all day every day. The place was immaculate and had everything needed and the town has great places to eat. Its a great neighbourhood spot and Christine is a legend.

Calibishie Sandbar was our first stop and a great way to kick off our two weeks in Dominica! Christine was excellent, the balcony over the ocean perfect for unwinding and there was everything we needed. Great wifi, equipped kitchenette for light food prep, easy to find, walking distance to restaurants and a mini market.

Everything! The place is super clean, the view is amazing, the neighborhood is nice, a few perfect little restaurants steps away...take a walk on the left facing the sea and you will fall in love 💕 the hostess Christine is the best!

“Very romantic and genuine Dominican”

This is an extraordinary place. You cannot get closer to the sea. On the balcony, you are above it. Probably due to the proximity to the sea,, the temperature in the room is always perfect, no air-conditioning needed. The host is very charming and helpful. The rooms are decorated tastefully with a beautiful blend of British and Caribbean style.

“Perfect oceanfront guesthouse with the most welcoming host”

Fantastic little waterfront property with only two rooms, the bigger one with the balcony upstairs is just simply incredible. The place is well located in Calibishie within a very short walking distance from restaurants, grocery shops, ATM and fresh fruit/vegetable market. The room is tidy and clean and super comfortable, with a well equipped kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the ocean that is just the perfect spot for having breakfast or an afternoon read. The best thing about the place, however, is the host Christine. She is a super delightful person, friendly and helpful always. We were fortunate enough to spend Christmas Day with her and her expat friends in the restaurant/bar area of the guesthouse and it was a truly memorable experience. We can only recommend the place! (FYI the restaurant/bar is temporarily closed but will likely re-open in 2023)

Excellent location right at the sea in the charming village of Calibishie. Close to the airport (20 min. drive) so convenient for arrivals late in the day. Host is very friendly and flexible. Very nicely decorated apartment. Great location for exploring the beautiful north side of the island. Nice restaurant 2 doors away from the apartment.
