Petrus was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. We were much later than indicated and it was no problem. He went out of his way to help us. He also booked a restaurant for us. The room was lovely, bed comfortable and we had everything we needed. The garden and outlook from the verandah was beautiful and we loved having breakfast out there.

Beautiful property, super staff and lot of value for money. In house bar, delicious food, games, play area, pool, veggie garden and safe parking. Great stop close to the N2, garden route, Hermanus, Wine lands, and only 80 min from Cape Town. Definitely coming back.

He went above and beyond in every interaction, and his care made such a difference to our experience. He came to save me on the N2 when I had 2 tyre bursts. And to the owner — your generosity and humanity left me speechless. When my tyre burst, you didn’t hesitate to step in and help. That kind of kindness is not something you forget. This is a place where people don’t just do their jobs — they uplift others. I’m deeply grateful for the way everyone treated us. Highly recommended.

Loved the location and the beautiful spot. So central in the district with magnificent day trips to Hermanus, Greyton, franschoek, Stellenbosch and Bettys Bay. The house itself is a fantastic heritage piece, and the staff and food is 5 star!

We loved the setting surrounded by nature with a view of the mountain. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They do a great breakfast with an option for every taste. Our daughter loved the animals and the pool. They have great braai facilities.

We entered the property with the most beautiful and friendliest smile from Petrus. He was amazing throughout. Then we met Lorenzo, Lizelle and William. We left there feeling like we made family. The team at Caledon Grace Guesthouse demonstrated an admirable level of professionalism, paired with sincere warmth, attention to detail and willing to go above & beyond for anyone staying at the property. Myself and my partner really grew attached to them because they were so friendly and held amazing conversations about the guest house, Caledon itself and other interesting conversations, but at the same time, doing their duties thoroughly managing the house and all guests with such deep care and understanding. When we searched for a place, my partner, Jean-Pierre, saw the piano and immediately booked it for that reason as he is a professional pianist. We sang and played piano almost daily but we were considerate of the other guests and kept asking if it's okay. The other guests and all staff immensely enjoyed that too, which gave me an idea for your place, you could definitely have "high teas"in the afternoon as the space is so beautiful and will compliment that idea. High teas in cape town is really pricey but people of all ages enjoy it. The other thing we had an idea about and shared with the staff, is selling Pizzas for lunch and dinner, because of the wonderful new pizza oven. We tried it for the first time, had lots of fun with mistakes being made but Petrus in particular REALLY loved the idea and hopefully he can take that idea forward to grow your business. Every detail from the hair shampoo (which we asked for the supplier's details because it was that amazing for our hair) in the bathroom to the air conditioned room, to the breakfasts, were well thought out, well executed and the cleanliness were on point. Our interactions with the management was the best part of our experience at the guest house. They are truly GOLD.
