Great place, but pilgrims need to be quieter and respectful to others in the morning if they wake up at 5-6am

“Great location, great accommodation I would definitely recommend it for pilgrims to stay”
Yolanda was so welcoming, chatty, informative and friendly. The property was huge and very old. You could see accommodations were made to bring it up not a more modern standard. The breakfast was included in the price that was great. The bathrooms, kitchens and communal spaces were spotless. There were musical instruments on the wall which had the potential to be exciting, if only I played.

“Bed bugs all over”
I booked this accommodation based on the good reviews, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The place was not very clean (there was not even hand soap available in the bathrooms), and last night I got terribly bitten by bed bugs. I couldn’t sleep at all, and there was neither the owner nor any staff available to help. To make things worse, they refused to provide any reimbursement, which I find unbelievable. Definitely not the experience I expected.

All staff we spoke to were absolutely lovely, great bunks with curtains and sheets provided, lovely space with people playing music in the afternoon, great location. Yolanda even told us about things to do/see/eat in the town and her recommendations were great!

“Charming stay on the Camino”
The host Yolanda was so nice! You can tell she really cares about the pilgrims staying there. Her personal wax stamp is beautiful and great way to remember the journey. I liked the solo bathrooms, beds were very comfortable, location was prime (easy to locate on the Camino and close to everything you need food, drinks, etc), free breakfast with little espresso machine.

Generally a good stay. The lady at the reception was really frienly and helpfull. The albergue is or seems quite old, and the living room has seen better days. However, it was the only hostel during my stays for the camino, that had a place to dry your shoes, like a cuboard with hot air. I realy appreciated that, being completely wet upon arrival.

Staff were incredible. Make you feel right at home, show you a map of the town. Excellent. Multiple bathrooms with toilet and shower so you can shower and change in peace. Stay here for the shoe dryer alone!!

“The most kindness I’ve received staying ANYWHERE!”
Best hospitality on the entire Camino. I injured my foot shortly before arriving here. Yolanda showed me the most care and love. A pilgrim herself, she bandaged my foot herself, she brought me coffee up the next day when I couldn’t get downstairs, she made me an appointment with a physio as well as telling me about her pal who rents bicycles - which ultimately saved my Camino. After my own hiking poles broke 3 days before she donated me a new one - which got me to Santiago. She also does give a wonderful stamp, but only if you do stay at the Albergue. And do because it’s one of the most memorable stays now of the Camino because of the absolute kindness shown.

Very nice hostel at Camino. There is a shoes dryer and a nice kitchen. Close to shops. For guests they put an amazing stam into the Camino Credential.
