“Relaxing!”

Was greeted at restaurant beneath and given clear instructions beforehand. Communication was faultless before my trip. Great location - I would suggest a car if you want to explore more beaches and restaurants but if you like walking it’s ok.

The location was fabulous. We loved being so close to the beautiful beach.

“Pleasant stay but private event disco on last night within feet of bedroom made sleep impossible”

Private event disco on last day was horrible. so loud that in our roon, it was like a physical assault. We could not hear each other speak. Went off at 1130 but it was way afer midnight before we finally got to sleep, before an early start next day. Unacceptable. For this reason, I would not stay here again

“Wonderful location”

Hostal Playa was perfect for our short stay in Mallorca. The location was amazing and the room was clean & comfortable.

“A Hostal that commands a fantastic position on a picture postcard beach but in need of some updating.”

There is no doubt that this Hostal is all about location!! Cala Santanyi is exceptionally pretty with its clear blue waters, calm cove and white sand! The view from either the private or shared terrace is directly over the beach and ocean and you are on the beach within a minute which is perfect! The restaurant is directly below serving nice meals at prime location prices with everything cooked fresh on site. There is no noise interference in the rooms due to the calibre of clients and the kitchen closing at 22.00. There are a scattering of restaurants in walking distance and a local bus to Santanyi town which is well worth a visit and is very beautiful. The Wednesday and Saturday Market is recommended. Location, Location!

“Incredible location.”

The location is incredible, the beach is RIGHT there. We spent the whole day on the beach and couldn't have been happier. Multiple beach bars/restaurants right there which gave plenty of options for food and drink. There's a small supermarket walking-distance away which was handy. We had dinner at the restaurant downstairs one night and it was delicious - the caprese salad and the mango-feta salad were delicious, great portion sizes and really tasty. Check-in and out process was very smooth. We arrived quite late at night, but had already received detailed instructions via email regarding how to get into our room, especially given the late hour. The next morning we paid the eco-tax with a staff member and that was that. Interactions were minimal. The whole facility is very quiet and the rooms seem well sound-proofed, we couldn't hear other guests aside from when they walked outside our door. The room was clean and tidy with plenty of storage space and a mini-fridge with freezer compartment. They did not have any double bed rooms available when we booked, but were able to put the two single beds together for us upon request, which we appreciated. Parking is available (no reservation needed) and it's easy to access - we saw other places that looked very steep / hard to get in and out of (especially with a rental car) and were very grateful for our facilities!

The hotel room had a beach view which was very nice mostly for the price it was such a good choice.

The location on the beach is fabulous, the food was good and the restaurant staff were excellent. The rooms are very simple but fine for a short seaside holiday.

The views and location was amazing, the staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The parking was fantastic to have and having easy access to such a beautiful location was incredible. The little shop just up the hill was very handy.

perfect location to enjoy the beach, not a good one if you want more convient. the bus nearby shuttle every two hours, which means if you missed one you will enjoy more beach time. Choose here only when you rent a car

“A little slice of heaven/ luxury without having to blow the budget”

Absolutely stunning location right on the beach, restaurant below was fantastic and not too much noise, the views are incredible from the bedroom and balcony. The staff were so welcoming and helpful with describe walks to the nearby beaches etc. There is an an authentic deli located 3- 5 min walk up the straits across the beach at the back of the spar with everything you need for self catering , delicious Spanish cured meats and fresh bakery /coffee. Will definitely be returning.

“Perfect location for a relaxed few days”

Location. This is the second time we stayed there, once was just a weekend though. The room is practically on the beach and can sleep hearing the waves.

Albert, the manager, was kind and helpful. He did an upgrade to me and I was in hostel Palmaria, they are literally close to each other. Palmaria has an astonishing view, lovely balcony and comfort room. I only had to walk 1 min to go to the beach. The clean Team did a good job in my room.
