The Costa Dorada enjoys one of the most picturesque locations in Sardinia, being located on the waterfront in Cala Gonone, 10 metres from the sandy and rocky beach. The Costa Dorada offers parasols and deck chairs on the beach at an additional cost. Nestled in a quiet area, the hotel features free WiFi, a romantic atmosphere and is surrounded by a cool garden with hot tub. “Great Hotel in Cala Gonone.”
We liked everything about this hotel. The restaurant at night was particularly good. Close to all the other restaurants and right across the road from the beach. Also a very good breakfast with egg station.

“Don't stay anywhere else in Cala Gonone! This is the best!”
Let's start with the staff! They were absolutely fabulous. Extremely accommodating and kind. Nothing g was to much trouble. I managed to lock our passports in their safe and couldn't get it unlocked, they actually broke the safe for me and didn't even make it feel like an inconvenience. The location is stunning! Easy walk to everything and absolutely beautiful setting right on the beach. The restaurant is next level. The breakfast I ckuded is absolutely delightful with so many fresh choices of fruit, pastors, egg station, cheese etc Dinners are absolutely amazing. The food is sensational. If you aren't staying at this hotel, you must book as it gets busy. The rooms were huge and comfortable and very clean. Each with outdoor furniture to enjoy their beautiful gardens. I would stay nowhere else in Cala Gonone. This hotel was absolutely 5 star! Thank you to the team for looking after us

“Molto Molto bene 😜 - loved our stay at Costa Dorada !”
Perfectly located, stayed in a junior suite with great views of the ocean. Staff were welcoming and very hospitable, nothing was a problem and they would go the extra mile to meet any request. We had a fabulous stay, the breakfasts were great with the custom made omelettes a favourite. Molto Molto bene.

Amazing stay directly at the main promenade in Cala Gonone. We highly recommend to book in advance during high season, as this hotel has a great location and due to the fact that the town is small. From there, you can due great (boat) trips to famous Cala Luna etc., or explore different beaches close by by car. Breakfast was also nice, with a nice ocean view on their terrace. Parking lots are available close by. Rooms were clean and were fully equipped.

The place has an amazing location. We rented a room with an ocean view; realistically you had to open the front door of the room to then sit in a balcony/walkway to enjoy the ocean view. A bit of an oversell but not that bad. To whoever owns this hotel; with a bit of a freshen up/ update you can have a great hotel. Please note that the staff were absolutely amazing! Extremely helpful and polite. Thanks

The staff is very friendly and nice, you can always get answers from them. The view is very good from second and third floor, you can enjoy the sea view and the sun while lying on a sun longer. The dinner is also worth trying especially the white wine.
