“Lovely, quiet apartment with swimming pool in an excellent loocation!”

First of all, the location. 5 minute stroll to the lovely beach, although coming back was all uphill and we struggled a bit, being of more advancing years. The apartment was adequate and had all the facilities you needed (apart from an iron and ironing board). It's a weird configuration - you unlock your door and go straight onto the balcony and from there you go through the unlockable doors into the apartment. Initially, we were concerned about security, but it was fine. Being late in the season, the apartment was a bit tired and needed a bit of TLC, which, I'm sure will be addressed in the off season. The balcony overlooked the pool, with a table and two chairs, which weren't very comfortable. Because of the angle of the sun in september, the balcony get very little shade in the middle of the day and can get very warm. With 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk, both with a bakery, we'd often have a baguette for lunch, but eating on the balcony wasn't pleasant with the heat. The pool and surrounds were great. The water in the pool was a pleasant temperature(unlike a previous reviewer saying the water was cold...perhaps they went earlier in the year?) The covered terrace was nice to enjoy a drink from the bar and take a break from the sunbeds. The seats here were very comfortable. The staff were great and friendly. The bar did close quite early, so having a nightcap there wasn't an option. Perhaps they stay open later in high season. I can understand why they close...no customers! Insects...no issues with the dreaded cockroach. Flies could be a nuisance but not much one can do about them. A hornet paid us a visit but he soon scarpered. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and will definately be going again.

Tranquil area and easy parking along the street. Proximity to the beach of Cala Blanca and ideal location to explore the island by car. Also, not too far from Ciutadella. The receptionist Sofia was really friendly and gave us useful tips about restaurants and beaches to visit. The apartment was clean and housekeeping was every other day. Nice little balcony.

Everything. ,appartments were very clean and comfortable ,the location was excellent, the beach was 2 mins away from appartments, and had lots of eateries close by ,,the staff were friendly and helpful,and there was a bus stop really close by .

We were lucky to get room on the 3rd floor with fantastic views (panoramic view 180°) stunning sunsets, sea view. The kitchen has all the necessary stuff. Cleaning is every 2 days (that is perfect). Staff at reception are very friendly. Perfect location, just 2 minutes walking to the beach and nearby different restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacies etc. We stayed one week and it was a really great time, thank you very much!

I enjoyed the attitude of the staff. A special word to the manager, Mariluz. I really recommend Sagitario hotel and apartments in Cala Blanca, because the place is one of the best places to stay in Minorca and if you have a problem with the service, Mariluz is your peace of mind. Accommodation will never be a good service without people.

Good location, light and airy apartment with air conditioning. Comfy bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Spacious balcony. Housekeeping came 5 out of the 7 days. Staff great and pool area nice. Lots of beds and shade if needed and not busy.

“Unclean room and loud noises until late”

They gave us the keys to an apartment that was still uncleaned even though we arrived at 5pm and check-in was at 2pm, when I called to complain the receptionist told me that check-in after 2pm means they have time after 2pm to clean the room. I asked for a late check-out to compensate not having my room ready until 6pm which they only confirmed the last day of my stay and because I insisted. Another huge disappointment came when at 11.30pm one could still hear the noises of a close-by hotel hosting some kind of party EVERY DAY. On the second night I complained and the answer was that the other hotel had a special license to make loud noises. I checked this and hotels can have up to 40dB so I measured and not to my surprise they were at 70dB. It was impossible to sleep, yet no one cared. I even called the police and apparently you need to do a lot of paperwork, I don't know why you need to pay a tourist fee when they do not provide any good service in exchange. All in all, after a year of pandemic one can tell that the service level has dropped significantly.
