“A calming oasis”

This is genuinely one of the most memorable hostel experiences I have had. Beautiful, magical atmosphere that really felt like home so I ended up extending my stay to about a week. You can cook in the kitchen, the rooms are sort of half indoor half outdoor which was amazing as you fall asleep and wake up with fresh air and sounds of nature. Most importantly for me - the people were so beyond lovely. I got quite sick on the first night and they helped me out massively from taking me to the hospital to offering me food and medicines. I couldn't thank them enough. Also the especially cute cat and other animals helped comfort me through my recovery hehe. I hope to come back some day.

Beautiful treehouse room in nature. So lovely to sleep listening to all the sounds. The homestay staff were wonderful, so warm and inviting. They hung out with the guests and were very generous with their time (one took us for a day trip to Senggigi) and their food. It was lovely and I would love to return.

This was a once in a lifetime experience! The people living there were so kind. They even shared their food with me, taught me bahasa indonesia and we jammed together. I felt at home immediately, had the most interesting conversations! This place will forever stay with me in my memory. Thank you so much

“The most special place I've ever traveled to”

I intended to stay here for two nights but ended up extending for one more week. I've never been to a more relaxed environment than Hijau. All people taking care of this magical accommodation are amazing human beings with mega-friendly personalities. They showed me some of their favorite places which I'm very thankful for! I loved the setup of the accommodation because simplicity is all you need in this environment. Here, you feel like time doesn't exist, and you just immerse yourself in the presence. Even now, two months after my departure, I still think of Hijau every day (seriously!). I only have the best memories of Hijau. Definitely one of the best places in Indonesia. I hope I'll come back soon!

Mataram it's a good point to start your adventures in Rinjani, Kuta , Sengiggi.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The place has a great vibe, the hosts are lovely, and the people who stay here are genuinely kind. I felt warmly welcomed from the very first day. I loved the vibe so much that I kept extending my stay again and again. I just felt really good here. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are simple but charming and totally functional. The location is perfect if you're looking to connect with local life. Plus, the hosts are always happy to help and answer any questions. The Wi-Fi works perfectly, and the cherry on top: there’s a kitchen available, which is a real bonus! Highly recommended!
