“Excellent hotel with amazing staff and facilities”
The value for money is amazing. The room was spacious, spotless and had a nice atmosphere to it. Showers, beds, wifi, all more than in order. The hotel itself is beautiful with the nice patio in the middle and the gallery with rooms surrounding it. The breakfast was exquisite, with luxurious fresh fruit choices including freshly made juices, on point dairy options, the usual cheese and ham, and eggs prepared to taste. Having this included in our stay felt like a steal. Moreover, the stay apparently included a complimentary airport shuttle. We did not know this and it was the cherry to an already incredible rich cake. There are several nice hotel options in Cajamarca, but we would 100% book El Portal Del Marques again.

The service was great, very friendly staff. Everything nice in the hotel. Location great. Airport shuttle perfect. A problem with our room before arrival was solved before we came. Very happy about that.

“Excellent choice.”
I did like everything. Really attentive service, always willing to assist and help. Rooms were nice, clean, espacious and comfortable. Transfer in/out airport is really additional plus.

“Wonderful location. Close to the plaza, great staff, excellent restaurant and perfect quietness.”
Breakfast was great. Fruit, yogurt, ham, local cheese and bread. Nothing out of the ordinary. Beds were outstanding comfortable. Shower had great pressure and basic toiletries. Towels were soft.

It was very close to the plaza de armas and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A shuttle to the airport is provided free of charge.
