Our stay at Yacoubian was amazing. We loved the apartment, the location was perfect and Taher the receptionist was a great host - very polite, always responsive and ready to support without being pushy. I would definitely stay again next time I'm in Cairo.

“Nice apartment in central location”
The apartment is great, with very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. It was super clean when we got there. The location is also very central, very easy to go anywhere from there. Taher and Abdu were very sweet and helpful.

Yacoubian Suites offers an authentic downtown Cairo experience in one of the city’s most historic and atmospheric districts. The apartment is comfortable and nicely furnished, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. The local-style breakfast was a positive surprise — fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. The building itself is a piece of history, featured as an emblematic location in the Egyptian blockbuster The Yacoubian Building. Staying here truly feels like stepping into a living story of Cairo’s past and present. The owner is a fine and generous man. We arrived early, and he personally invited us for breakfast and treated us as if we were house guests until our early check-in — a gesture of genuine Egyptian hospitality that set the tone for our stay. The apartment is on the 7th floor, and while the building has a working elevator, you do need to climb a few stairs to reach it, so guests with mobility issues should take note. The neighborhood is lively and central, which makes it very convenient for exploring nearby attractions, good restaurants, and local shops. However, the area is busy day and night, and the sound of Cairo’s car horns never truly stops — so if you can only sleep in complete silence, this may not be the right fit. All in all, Yacoubian Suites combines history, character, and heartfelt hospitality. Come with an open mind and you’ll experience downtown Cairo at its most authentic — vibrant, noisy, and full of life. +1 Be nice and before you leave tip the gatekeeper (bawwab) downstairs who will open the lift door for you each time you come and go.

“Fabulous place to stay at in Cairo old town”
We had a nice stay at Yacoubian Suites! The apartment is very nicely furnished with tasteful decorations and well equipped with everything you neex. We only stayed for one nnight, but I wish we could have stayed lionger. The Suites are located in a very kively street in the middle of Cairo oldtown, accordingly, the area is quite noisy duriing the night. Taher is a very friendly and attentive receptionist, who looked after us very well. I would definitely return again and stay longer next time!

Very nice flat in the center of Cairo. A lot of space. Good equipment. Very helpful, responsive and attentive staff. Nice brekfast. Good location - walking distance from Tahrir Square and Old Egyptian Museum. Close to the metro station.
