This hotel is in a great location which is close to a lot of the attractions and feels safe. The staff are very helpful, especially Remon who always was very willing to help out with anything you needed. The buffet breakfast is also great with lots of different option.

Only book it if you are with an Intrepid group and you arrive a few days before the start of the tour. Otherwise you will find better hotels for that price.

“Wouldn’t stay again”
Not the nicest of places. We didn’t book here originally — we were moved here after the Indiana had no room for us. While the reception staff were polite and did what they could, the hotel itself is run-down, dated, and really not a pleasant place to stay. Wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Having already stayed at this hotel during a trip with Intrepid Travel, I decided to book the same hotel to extend my stay in Cairo after the tour, appreciating its quality/price ratio. During my previous stay I had really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, which proved to be the same during this stay too. The furnishings are a bit dated, but functional and very clean. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Abundant breakfast (mainly Egyptian-style). Quiet neighborhood, close to several embassies. Of course, it is possible to find better accommodations, but for the low price of this hotel the services received were more than satisfactory.

Stayed while waiting to get in a tour with Intrepid Travel starting from this hotel. The furnishings are a bit dated, but functional and very clean. Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Plenty of hot water. Very good air con - if a bit noisy! Good choice of breakfast. Better than I expected from previous reviews.
