Popular location with a lot of food 5 minute walking distance and other hotels. Staff were friendly and spoke english plus the bar uptop was nice.

You can’t get a better view or closer to the Giza pyramids and sphinx than this hotel. Walk across the street to the Giza plateau entrance. The terrace serves a good breakfast where you can enjoy the view.

This property has amazing service from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. They made me safe and comfortable. Abdo and Mahmoud at the desk were awesome , Muhammed helped me with my luggage and always brought water bottles to my room.

“Great location and stay - recommend!”

Having read mixed reviews on this property, I felt compelled to write and summarise our experience. Firstly this is Egypt and still a developing country so quality is variable. Its also classified as an Inn, not a hotel. This is very common and means its a smaller establishment which will never have he larger hotel facilities - but nor are you paying the high prices! After one night we were provided with a free upgrade - without even asking :-) The staff are all friendly and google translate can be handy sometimes. Whatever you need just ask and they will do their best. More towels, cleaning etc. The rooftop offers are great view and you can have breakfast there when warm(er). The location is perfect - as others have mentioned the Pyramids and Sphinx can be easily seen from the property and the ticket office is basically just over the road. Plenty of restaurants and small supermarkets are within walking distance. The new GEM (Great Egyptian Museum) is a short and cheap Uber ride away - I'd use Uber PIN on the app by the way since there are a number of drivers who will claim to be your driver but aren't yet without the PIN the driver won't get paid. Also bear in mind the car number plates are in Arabic so that makes life tricky :-) I saw some comments about paying the invoice on arrival. This is true and was clear when we booked. The price was in US Dollars and matched exactly. Its the law there that you have to pay in a trusted overseas currency. Also bear in mind this is Egypt so nothing "quite works" - eg the wifi was a bit slow but sufficient - and that's part of the appeal. We would stay again and recommend.

“This is a million dollar view”

For visiting the Pyramids this place is perfect. Rooms are comfortable, good shower & amazing balcony views. One minute walk from the entrance to the Pyramids. The highlight is the rooftop terrace for breakfast or sunset drinks - this is a million dollar view!! Thanks to Abdo& his crew for the stay.

The staff at this hotel made me feel like family. EVERYONE was so helpful. Samir really took care of me, Thank you brother. I booked tours with him and my driver, Ahmed, was knowledgeable, witty and patient. The view of the Sphinx and Pyramids was unparalleled. Breakfast was wonderful on the rooftop patio. Dinner was wonderful as well. I hope to return to this hotel someday.

“Scam: Avoid”

The property is not what it says it is. Its actual name is Sky Pyramids, which has a number of generic positive reviews on Booking.com exactly like Location Pyramids does. We tried the address and then the pin on Booking.com (two slightly different locations), and finally had to call the number and a guy came and fetched us because nobody has heard of a place by the name Location Pyramids View Inn. He said our room was being cleaned and would be ready in two hours. Although I had told him our arrival time was 6pm, and we had a right to the room much earlier, we didn't make a fuss, and went for dinner. At 8pm he said the room cleaning would require an hour more. Obviously, cleaning doesn't take that long, so we made enquiries and found that the previous occupants were still occupying the room. This was the second major lie, after the fake name. The room was okay, it had some positives and some defects. The view from the terrace was decent but the breakfast very basic. All that is irrelevant, though, because essentially the property management is totally untrustworthy. Update: I forgot to mention that despite the issues I wrote about, I was not offered a discount or even an apology. I wondered why they were not scared of a bad review and now I understand. I see my review is being buried under more fake reviews. Since the property takes the full payment itself, it can make a fake reservation, claim it has been fulfilled and write a glowing review full of compliments to the excellent service offered by people who don't actually exist (Booking.com will have no way of verifying because it takes no payment itself). Great scam.

“I had a great stay”

I had a great stay, room was large and comfortable. Food was amazing, and the staff made my day at the pyramids unforgettable. If you plan to stay here, check your email after you book so that they can schedule your ride from the airport. It will save you a lot of time and headaches with Uber, there are a lot of other hotels with similar names and it can be confusing.

This property truly has a once in a lifetime, kodak-moment view! Our room had the most jaw dropping view, we had to pinch ourselves every morning. The staff were also so pleasant, kind and accommodating. They were proactive with their communication whenever we needed a ride scheduled to and from the airport or wherever. They all understood English well too so it was easy to communicate. We felt safe in the hotel and genuinely appreciated. The rooftop terrace was an amazing addition as well and our room had ac which made it pleasant to sleep. Overall a wonderful experience!

“Great Location 😍😀”

Everybody who worked at the hotel was extremely friendly, especially the front desk receptionist Honey!! Ahmed sent a complimentary taxi to pick me up from the airport. It really helps the hassle of landing in a new country and having to navigate the area to the hotel. The view from my view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the pyramids every morning was a dream come true Being able to see the light show from the rooftop was an added bonus that I wasn’t expecting either!

“Great staff”

The staff were so kind here and supported us in all of our transportation needs when needed. If we needed rides to and from the airport they were able to schedule right away. They have a jaw dropping view on the roof of the Pyramids and Sphinx, (and from our room as well), and it really is as spectacular as you would imagine. Well worth it if you want to enjoy watching the sun set on the Pyraminds as well as see them as the sun rises on them first thing in the morning.

“AMAZING STAY!”

It is a great location with views of the sphinx and the pyramids. I could easily see them all right from my balcony, but the view from the rooftop deck was great and I spent a lot of time up there. Breakfast every morning very good. The chef would make you falafel every morning and it was probably the best I've ever had. Arranging tours, food, and whatever else you wanted was as easy as asking. I had a late flight on my last day and despite my checking out when I returned from a tour they opened up a room for me so I could shower and rest. You couldn't ask for better hospitality.
